Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can has had one of those games. Hopefully that's it now and he will be at his best Sunday. Far more important

Surprised sky haven't sent someone onto the pitch to retrieve that note

Five more minutes of passing it around the back line only for a player to pass it out of play without looking, wonderful waste of time.

Agree totally. He needs to shut the fcuk up. However; if the foul had been given, he wouldn't have mouthed off. At least, not until the next time!

They were fouling each other both hand arms around each other

Someone from Southampton should read it.

Let's not overrate Southampton. They haven't had a shot on target in the second half.

  • Would be nice to see Long get a goal

Only a few days ago people on here were calling Klopp the greatest manager in the world

    Ya, he's the world's worst, isn't he?

Sturridge's movement has been so poor. Just static in front of the two centre backs.

They missed the best chance of the second half? Wide but still

When only one player makes a run it's pretty obvious where the pass is going.

    Blatant yellow.

The players seem fine with 1-0.

That's not saying much though. They deserve to be ahead alright but not out of sight.

    Sheng Long coming on.

Instead of just rolling his man, Sturridge seems to set himself, take a deep breath, shuffle his feet a bit to warm up, then turn. And by then there's 3 guys standing on him happy to snuff it out.

His legs just look very heavy.

He's been like that for 90% the last two seasons when he does play.

What is wrong with them tonight?

They are not clicking at all.

Karius was slow to react to the situation there.

Sturridge has been brutal, not many players have done well for us but he's been properly atrocious.

Strange game. Liverpool bossing possession (particularly in the second half), but Saints with the better chances. Redmond should have a hat trick by now.

These misses will disastrous for Southampton, Liverpool will win the return leg 3-1 and go through. They can't play worse than they have tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Milner clearly fouled before his slip there.

Goal on the break coming up. We aren't scoring anyhow, that's for damn sure.

Great face control on the ground there by Milner.
