All things considered, 1-0 is alright. Liverpool were absolutely awful and that's a big escape.

Meh, as said before the game, 1-0 not the end of the world, still probably just about favourites to get through.

Very disappointing performance though, no-one except Milner looked very up for it.

That was absolutely shocking. Southampton's chance conversion I mean. We should be punishing them in the home leg.

Away goals don't count until the end of extra time so really Liverpool should not be that worried about it

They bought half of Southampton's first team and then lost to the Reserves, awful. Some decent saves from Karius and some howlers from Redmond kept them in this tie.

Definitely. Think it was actually the worst performance of the season. Said 10 minutes into the 2nd half that I'd take a 1-0 defeat and get out of there. Should have been much worse.

Hopefully the atmosphere will stay mostly 'on' tonight rather than reverting to the usual. Second leg of a semi at home should be ok though, but still linked to the performance as well though.
