Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Agree to disagree but they can put migs out there if they want. Just get firmino in the middle

Sturridge is not the biggest problem out there.

He's made some wrong decisions but there's not enough movement around him giving him no options.

We're missing the pace of Mane.

TAA is getting trying to get forward but not being covered or protected.

We're defending like amateurs at times.

Can is also not doing his job properly and wonder if he's really good enough.

If we lose this we need to take a long hard look at what's going wrong.

Penalty shootout on the cards,we've been brutal in opposition box but we'll fluke a crappy goal,ah no Long on ,we're going out in 90mins

Good to see Long coming on. No hope of him scoring.

    Sturridge so so slow there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

He has no pace at all any more.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Maybe it's just long strides but Sturridge looked so incredibly slow running for that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,679 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

    Sturridge is so slooooooooow

Confirmation that Sturridge will never get back to 13-14 fitness right there.

    Remember when Sturridge could run

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,024 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

That attempt to get the ball in the corner from Sturridge perfectly sums up his decline.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,466 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Origi would have got to that ball Sturridge was chasing long before the touch line

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Can is like a statue, when Couts just had the ball he should have made a move forward but did exactly nothing.

    And sent it to orbit

Southampton will only have themselves to blame when the inevitable happens. Tie should be done and dusted by now easily

What's the inevitable? Slump to defeat in the final?
Because there's no way they lose this.

Wow, so close. Nearly a mistake by the keeper, but his long arms got him out of it.

Our keepers never get away with mistakes like that

    Can trying, at least.
Henderson, doing less and anonymous yet again. Nothing said

You'll criticise Henderson when he's not even playing.

We have Coutinho back, stop putting Milner on corners.

Milner with a pearler from the right and Sturridge skies it

Maybe there is a clue there.

Daniel fcuking Sturridge. Receiver of injuries, waster of chances.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

That's a tough chance for anyone, but what is Sturridge if not a finisher?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,024 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Oh my ****ing god absolutely HAS to score that!!

Coutinho one touch to Lallana, Lallana one touch to Sturridge, Sturridge eight touches and a pass to Redmond.
