Hi all! I'm pretty new here (relocated to Ireland together with my wife just 2 weeks ago).

Before moving to Dublin, I lived in a city with lots of public street workout facilities (pull-up bars, dip bars, monkey bars, that sort of thing). But in 2 weeks in Dublin I have not noticed anything of this kind.

So my question is: are there any public street workout facilities in Dublin, preferably in its northern part (I live in Drumcondra)? I tried googling but couldn't find anything either.

Any help will be greatly appreciated :-)

Many of the local parks have some equipment in them. It may not be very hi tec but might serve a purpose. You will not find anything "on street" as such.

So, in case anyone is interested, here are some of my findings.

    Griffith Park: nothing.
Albert College Park: some pretty useless exercise machines, but at least some of them can be used for chin-ups.
Clontarf along the seafront: some absolutely useless exercise machines, the only useful thing there is a set of dip bars.

I will report later when I visit more parks.

Father Collins park in donaghmede has pull up bars. Don't think there's dip bars, I don't usually do dips so wouldn't notice.

Malahide castle has monkey bars definitely.
