    Hi, i need to buy a car for college this year and dont want to be stuck with a car that will continously break down, Im going to do a vechicle check but was wondering, is 100K kilometers on a 2005 1 liter petrol car. high or no?

    Also forgot to mention the timing belt was changed at 75k, is this good or bad? Ive no idea about cars.

    Mileage would be considered low

    100000km over 12 years is 8300km per year or only around 5000 miles.

    Having the timing belt changed after a number of miles/years is very important so that is a good thing.

    Saying a timing belt was changed at 75k km is all good and well but when was that done? On a low mileage car that has only covered 100k km in 12 years then a time interval comes into play as well as mileage when talking about a timing belt change.

    What car is it btw?
