    It looks as if Golden Discs Henry St has closed down.

    Pity but not particularly surprising considering how the industry is going.

    that was quick - it only opened last year.

    I see a comment from the on their Facebook page saying that it had been a "pop up shop". I dont remember that being said upon opening last year.

    Noticed it closed yesterday and now the sign above the door is gone.

    They have taken up a kind of concession status in tesco shops

    Closed the Nutgrove branch recently too..

    No surprise that Golden Discs are closing branches especially after what has happened to HMV and Xtravision.

    Golden Discs lost half a million in their last set of accounts.
