Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Only relevant question is, when did the lady buy the ticket, and when did she try to claim her prize.

I wonder what the lottery did on Duffy. Seems to be another one of his personal revenge missions here. Not giving any sort of balance at all.

Leaving aside the undoubted slitheriness of the Lotto people, what's wrong with the elderly people enjoying a wee flutter on scratch cards/ Lotto? People are there to be exploited and that's the Lottos job. People who buy these products obviously don't object too much, so no problem.

I don't see much wrong with it, but some people have a real habit, where they spend every spare penny on it. That's a problem, in my book.
Still, at least the pensioners aren't mugging people for their i-Prunes in the street to get cash for their habit.

Topaz have or had some kind of game you can play with reward points, is that de gambling too? They should have a game where for €1 extra you can gamble to win your fuel for free.

Now, that's a game I'd probably buy a ticket for.

I'd be on the phone to Joe in a couple of years.
"Joe, they started by offering me free fuel, and now I'm broke."
