Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

"Eileen dunne talks about the day she was born" riveting D'Arcy

I think she was a leap year baby. She's done this before.

I can imagine him. "You've only had 15 birthdays. That must be mad."

    "He's not paraded."

They've probably chosen one for this year already, but we've now got a great candidate for Grand Marshall for next year's St. Patrick's Day parade in Dublin.

I'm willing to hazard a guess that Cornelius would be tickled pink that he's still being talked about and used as an educational aid 250 years later.

Dead on... who wouldn't prefer to have people looking at yer old bones 200 years from now rather than being down in the grounds with the worms or a puff of dust!

These people have little to be thinking about. Will someone ask Joe about his precious Theresa of Lisieux and her remains being paraded around the country a few years ago. He couldn't get enough of it then, nearly having orgasms he was.

Desperate stuff. Nobody has an interest in this, in this country. There are so many other issues to discuss, but Duffy makes three shows in a row about a personal gripe he has.

Then he hams it up as if the whole country is discussing this and nothing else. Getting thick and aggressive with anybody who objects to him. Old school Duffy at it's worst.

I could hear all the regulars dropping off their perches with boredom, all over the country.
Even for the usual Joe audience, that was stultifying.

Did Joe Dolan's hip bone garner a mention today at all. It should be on display Joe.

This was a real WTF moment for me.....but at least now we know where Joe got his "difference" phraseology from, so to speak. It's very strange.

Only caught a few mins of today's show but to hear Joe attempt to shout down the Professor from Trinners when said Prof. said parts of he skeleton had been replaced over the years and Joe trying to argue that any genetic studies done on the skeleton were therefore invalid if they were replaced by other bones was hilarious. It really never ceases to amaze me how thick he is. Even if the bones were replaced by another "YEW-MAN" we're talking about a & foot something man - like there are millions of those around.

That and being a master of getting away with it.

Did you hear him today when someone asked him if he'd ever been to see Oliver Plunkett, as suggested by other posters yesterday?
"I suppose I did" or "I might have done".

If the shoe was on the other foot he'd want a YES or NO answer.

I do hope there's an update on the Cornelious situation today.
Like most of the country I've thought of nothing else for the last couple of days.
If not, the usual helping of death murder disease and misery will suffice.
    Fingers crossed!

    Misery, murder, death, the usual.
Eviction, road rage (bicycles and taxis).
Somebody with their nose out of joint over not being in a parade.
Oh, and it's springtime, so no need for all that bright stuff.
