Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Joe: " Yesterday was the first day of Spring, for some it means longer days and brighter evenings, but for others it's a reminder of death..."

NB: His voice rose slightly as he emphasised the word "death".

Jesus, he's so morbid it's desperate. Himself, Tubridy and D'Arcy are responsible for a certain amount of the depression that inflicts this country.

Which one of those stories will be even mentioned. I think the Dracula fella is a buddy of Joe's or else he's old school Dub, so my money is on him to be on anyway. Odds are we'll only get one version of the story with a substantial but crucial bit left out.

Also which story is odds on to be used as a lead in to his persoanal crusade against the body in Trinity. Or has he actually realised that nobody is interested in it?

Actually, I wonder does Joe need professional help for his fixation on death and disease?

They say that the first step to solving any addiction is accepting that you have a problem.

I'm afraid Duffy is so far up his own back passage and has such an inflated sense of his worth and value that he is consequently a long long way from admitting that he needs help and looking for treatment.

Would the reason for Dracula not being invited to the parade be because it is held during daylight hours............just wondering?

Surprised de taxi drivers were not calling Joe to complain about the complaints...
Another 34 concern the condition of taxis and one of the those complaints stated that the taxi-driver was “in desperate need of a shower and something to clean the car”.

The complainant wrote that the taxi was battered “and the smell inside the car was frankly disgusting”.

Another passenger complained about an ‘extremely filthy’ taxi with “a layer of dust on the dashboard and a very strong smell of smoke”. That driver was fined by the NTA due to the state of the taxi.

A female passenger hit out at the ‘sickening and shocking dishonesty’ of a taxi-driver who brought her from George’s Street to Shankill.

She said that her date unbeknownst to her gave the taxi-driver €20 as she was getting into the taxi and she was charged €30 for the trip. She said that after handing over €50, the taxi-driver gave her back €20 and never mentioned receiving the €20 from her date.
