Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Transport policy should be determined by angry 'alleged' bus driver's anecdotes.

Jaysus, we need to close these services immediately - this is a scandal. Widespread abuse of the buses and the free travel.

We'll soon have buses that drive themselves - then the country will be bankrupt and won't be able to afford them - oh wait I forgot we are bankrupt.

20 people going to the Salthill Hotel on a Friday to listen to Doc Savage. They'd want to be p1ssed.

Just don't accept an old pass if you suspect it's a scam driver.

    This is your fault.

They do have to have the new ones I understand.

nothing wrong with boozing on trains once you dont annoy others

Speaking of trains, where is the Irish Orient express?

Can you use your pass on it?

It would be gas if "Tom" had a twitter account and you could Tweet him that Joe was on €416k a year, he would blow a heart valve.

I lost sympathy for Bus Eireann years ago when one of our children who was in transition year in secondary school, 16 and suddenly they wanted to charge them full fare. A town 50 miles from Dublin and the full fare was dearer than what you'd pay for Galway or Cork to Dublin.

They're a disaster - our kids always use private buses now when they can.

All he needs to do is radio the garage and they'd have a garda car waiting up the road. Dublin Bus do it all the time.

What the fcuk is he complaining about peeople using the bus for. If they have a pass, they have a pass. If they use it once a year or 1000 times a year that's their given right . So stop fcuking complaining about it, or change job.

I think "foredners" so to speak can use the free pass here in Ireland if they have the same system in their home country
