Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Once you have a serious illness, you either can't drive, or the insurance rates go through the roof making no sense in owning a car.

Someone I know working in a hospital in a rural town said it's cheaper to send some of them home by taxi rather than ambulance, or maybe keepin them in for another night.

There is also abuse by management, some taking a taxi everywhere when alternatives are there. But I think it's mostly the former.

It would be cheaper for RTE to have their own minibus /taxi s .But then that might save money so not a good idea .

That's because he is hopeless, and gets very flustered when someone has the measure of him. He'd prefer to plamas and patronise old women that he can turn around and say "Take care of yourself now, petal, ya hear?" at the end
