Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does Billy think that job-hunting is like the CAO college system, i.e. you put your hand up once to say you're looking for work and just sit back and wait for the offers to roll in??? Absolute Muppet!

Well it worked for Joe. And he didn't even have to put his hand up.

Joe is getting around about €2,000 a day for his show

Culture clash - Billy is a fisherman whilst the boss who runs the place is a landlubber and pen pusher. The former has little or no job security whilst the latter has a monthly salary and pension paid you can be sure. Recipe for resentment.

Moans about not getting a job - even a zero-hours job.

Gets offered job, live on air, by the boss.

    Turns down job.

Right, feck off, you've shot your bolt.

Look. Do the Brazilian workers mind walking where there is no footpath? Are you prepared to walk where there is no footpath? I mean, Billy, there has to be some sort of compromise here.

Don't forget he called to whinge about having to attend a meeting to help him get a job.

Then moaned about furriners taking jobs he could do.

Then gets offered the same job, on the same terms.

    Says no.

I hope his dole gets cut.

He gets more than that Ally. That was 2-15 fees so to speak. There's likely been two raises since then.
