    Hi guys,

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a new TV or a projector setup. A normal projector isn't really an option in my current sitting room so was thinking about the Optoma GT5000 and it's paired screen. Have you much experience of this setup? Very hard to find reviews of the GT5000! Would I be better off buying a decent telly and leaving the projector until I have the space?

    Hi Big Hungry Bear.

To be honest I have not seen this projector up and running.

Although I would say going on previous Panasonics I've seen it would be very good indeed and there are not very many projectors that can operate at such a close distance and operate in pretty much all lighting conditions.

In terms of a TV, in my opinion you will get a better image but lose out on the size.

In the same price budget you could look at the Samsung 55KS7000 priced at £1049

One of the benefits of going for a TV would be that you would be going for a 4K panel which again gives better contrast and image reproduction.

Let me know what you think.

Any questions drop me a post.
