I used to play War all the time until I got bored of always ending up in Neptune. Now I just play Shipment.

They released the community update yesterday and here's a summary of what it says:

- Type 38 (Arisaka) is the weapon contract for this week up to Tuesday, May 29th.
- From 10am PDT this Friday to 10am PDT next Tuesday, the DLC 1 map Valkyrie will have open access to everybody so it will be free to play within that period.
- With the open access to Valkyrie, the weekend warfare will be a Valkyrie moshpit playlist with double xp, double division xp and double weapon xp.
- Limited edition pack for Call of Duty Endowment entitled 'Fear Not' will become available Tuesday, May 29th.

That's pretty much it.

Used up some of my saved supply drops and got a few of the new weapons the Blunderbuss is back from Advanced Warfare

Also got Stinger LMG slowish firerate butlow recoil from my limited testing
Nambu type 2 SMG low recoil slowish firerate it’s ok

No new rifles sniper that I haven’t unlocked called PTRS-41
On the melee side there is a claymore sword and a fire axe

Good thing that I've not been playing WW2 in like a week and a half to two weeks now then.

It will feel terrible coming back to WW2 and normal playlists after playing Shipment all the time.

There was another update about 5 mins later, Shipment 24/7 is back in.

They had Sticks and Stones in Shipments place, but now Sticks and Stones is gone.

Three new basic trainings coming to WW2 including one that is the Specialist Package from MW3.

• Specialist: Earn Basic Trainings instead of Scorestreaks. Unlock at 200, 400, and 600 score. All Basic Trainings are granted at 800 score. Progress resets on death.
• Wanderlust: Spawn with a random gun (has up to 6 attachments). Pressing Triangle will always provide a new weapon.
• Escalation: Shortly after kills, aim down sights significantly faster. Bonus: Multi-kills instantly refill magazine.

Sounds like the combo of Cavalry with Hunker is the way to go for obj

Cavalry gives riot shield protection from bullets, faster Dom cap time, extra points for obj play. Add hunker to the mix and you become pretty difficult to remove from B flag

Dont forget the riot shield protects your back if you have is stowed so you can head glitch and you are protected from flankers as well

Some load of afk players in the infected game mode was able to get the melee contracts done everyday easy and averaging 10K per game just by blowing myself up with a Betty and hatchet the lot of them

I never tried infected on WWII until the other day and found it unbelievable that they don't give the infected a throwing knife.

Am I missing something? Because it seems horribly uneven. Joined a game on USS Texas and most of the survivors just sat on the guns happy out that I couldn't get near them with my hatchet

Switched over to MW3 where I could throwing-knife those ****s from way back

Is MW3 even still playable with hackers? I haven't tried it in ages but I loved the multiplayer so much. Team Defender was so much fun. Plant several I.M.S. everywhere.

A new in-game event for Call of Duty: WWII has been announced: Operation Liberty Strike! It’s live now through July 24 in Call of Duty: WWII, and it features four new weapons, return of favorite modes, a new Community Challenge, and more!

There are four new weapons with the Liberty Strike collection in Call of Duty: WWII:

ZK-383: A submachine gun that comes with a built-in selective fire feature, allowing a seamless transition from its short-range “Fast Fire” mode and longer-distance “Slow Fire” mode with a press of a button.
AVS-36: Rifle features automatic fire as well as a high damage output and solid fire rate.
De Lisle: A sniper rifle with a built-in suppressor.
Push Dagger: A knife that’s small in size, but big in lethality with a guaranteed one-hit-kill on any successful strike.

In addition, Captain Butcher returns as the Quartermaster in Call of Duty: WWII during the duration of the event with all new country-themed gear is coming to the game. Featuring weapon charms, uniforms, and camos for many of the countries around the world.

There’s a new Community Challenge as well in Call of Duty: WWII. Earn 260 million total match wins in MP across the community to unlock new rewards, including at Tier 3, everyone will receive the American II M1911 Variant, and at Tier 5, the Independent II M1 Grand Variant. Activision says, “every time a team wins a Multiplayer match, one win will be counted towards the community total.”

Game modes like One Shot and Hardcore Ricochet will return alongside new Double XP playlists during the event. SHG will announce new playlists throughout the course of the event, so stay tuned for updates.

There is also a set of new Zombies uniforms that can used in MP. To get these, players must complete challenges and daily orders in Zombies and can then unlock the the brand-new Moonraven uniforms to wear in Multiplayer.

Finally hit Master Prestige 10 last night took me exactly 10 Days of playtime to hit it. Not sure how many master prestige's will get I will aim for 100. I want to go and finish off Infinite Warfare.
Also got the LMG's to diamond camo the Bren was a real pain for getting headshots but got it done. So LMG's, SMG's and Launchers diamond might work on AR's next.
It's a bit disappointing that you don't get a fly-by from the general in the headquarters for reaching Master Prestige.

The only CoD I ever did the max prestige thing was BLOPS2 but that was only due to the benefit of playing in a party all the time which made it a lot easier

I think if I had to do it solo now I'd go mental

I play solo and the only COD I've maxed prestige on is Black Ops 3. IW I didn't even get to prestige 1, I was so bad at it and still am when I attempt to play it. MWR, I got to prestige 2 and gave up. WW2, I'm on prestige 2.

The only time I even prestige nowadays is if there's a double XP weekend and I haven't got much on so can sit down and take proper advantage of it

For this COD yes but one of my friends who I've played COD with since Black Ops 1 died in December and haven't felt like playing with others since.

But I have master prestiged all Call of dutys since MW2, except IW, I think I'm Prestige 9 so I will jump back on that and get to 10.
I have no interest in going to Prestige Master 1000

Got the De Lisle sniper in a supply drop earlier

It's got an in-built suppressor so it's great to fire away mad without care

I made a class with escalation basic training, rapid fire, ext mags and ballistic calibration. Once you get the first kill and escalation kicks in for that instant ADS you get a bullet hose

I cannot remember the last time I was on WW2, must have been at least a month and a half ago now by this stage. My xbox live gold membership is currently out so I'll have to renew then grind for the triple play in BO3. I might come back then.
