Walker is a far superior FPL player though - fewer yellow cards is the difference between bps and not. He gets more assists although hasnt any goals of his own this season while Rose has been lucky enough (both have scored a handful in previous seasons)

Not really. 11 times in previous 14 he got 6 or more points. Wasn't as if he wasn't returning points.
Injury fear was an ongoing thing that was being managed

To those who've been burnt by Alonso (and I'm not trying to lord it here, literally just giving my tuppence), you can't say this hasn't been coming.

He has had so many chances at scoring that a day like this seemed inevitable. It wasn't as if he was yellow flagged or there were major indications that he wouldn't play THIS week either.

At the same time it is never nice to miss out on so many potential points from a player, only for them to start loading up on those points the minute you get rid either. We've all been there. But I did feel in this case that those getting rid were being very premature, particularly with Hull at home next week.

Sold Alonso today. So much talk about an injury and with Ake being recalled, decided to sell as I'm sick of uncertainty surrounding my players.
