I don't think a single one of the upcoming releases posted in the day two days by Sligeach tickle my fancy Very, very anaemic selection, to my eyes. That being said, if there were a PC releases thread and Steam's daily releases were listed out each day, I'm sure I'd be equally unimpressed; I think posting absolutely everything that is announced leads to disappointment faster than curation of the release videos.

This will be a hardware refresh rather than a new console, so no question existing Switch games and accessories will work just fine, if the rumours are true.

Mentioning the 3DS is interesting there though. Probably in the realms of fantasy but given Nintendo's track record with handhelds, it would be great to see them add a 3DS cart slot to the redesigned Switch.

We've had Gameboy on GBA, GBA on DS and DS on 3DS. Why not 3DS on Switch?

They could keep the internals of the Switch itself the same, maybe make some mostly cosmetic changes. Some of the options:

- make it larger
- fix and redesign the Joy-Cons
- make the Joy-Cons larger, with larger buttons and sticks
- larger internal memory
- use a better wi-fi network chip
- better battery life
- higher resolution screen

And/or they work on the dock. Put some components in there that so when the Switch is docked it has more power. So games that were previously 720p, 30fps regularly docked, now can run 1080p/60fps. Kind of like a third setting, PC games have different settings for various games, so why not? Or it'll allow games that otherwise couldn't run on Switch, to now arrive. They be exclusive to this model of Switch, the way Xenoblade Chronicles was ported to the New 3DS. This new docked Switch could be like the N64's Expansion Pack. Just a thought, don't know if they'd do that though or if it's really possible.

It's a SoC not a graphics card.
Also, good luck to your extra battery life if you're going to just waste it on a 1080 resolution screen. I personally think the resolution is fine on the current model.
Also, why do people want browsers on their consoles?

What you're talking about there is a phone? Also, with the benefit of a phone, you can setup a hotspot and play multiplayer on your switch.

Honestly this feigned inability to understand why a browser on the Switch would be great is bizarre.
