Series co-creator Ed Boon will deliver new information about MK11 starting at 1:30 p.m. EST/10:30 a.m. PST, during a livestream on Twitch. NetherRealm and Warner Bros. will kick off the event with pre-show interviews starting at 10:30 a.m. PST. The main show starts at 11 a.m. PST, which will be followed by a post-show that runs from 12 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. PST. The event is being streamed from two locations, Los Angeles and London, and each city will have distinct post-show content including pro player exhibitions and celebrity interviews.

It could be nothing, but the Beta Test is only for PS4 and XB1(around 2:07 mark), so it may add to the rumours that the Switch version is going to see a delay. Still, it wouldn't be the first game on Switch not to have Beta access.

I just saw that Scorpion 'dabs' in the game. I almost hope it's delayed so they can take that travesty out :P.

It looks good though, the animations are Netherrealm par for the course really, a bit dodgy, but the gameplay looks good. The Ronda Rousey inclusion is a horrible one really, but can swallow that to play what looks a decent game.

I watched Jim Sterling's impressions of it this morning and he doesn't like it all. He loves the original game and his views on this game are how I see it. I do wonder if some sites have bloated their scores, as the hopes of a proper No More Heroes 3 depends on this being successful.

To me it looks like a lazy cash in on NMH. When it was first introduced you just hope it's more like the first 2 games but it's a few small ideas stretched out over 8 hours & even then it feels long. The initial trailer I swear I thought they were just going to put Travis in other games like Hotline Miami and do their own spin on them but if they did it didn't go well.
Nintendo Life gave it an 8 of course as they have no standards.....they gave Tiny Metal a f**king 9 when half that is about right.

I have it, the sequel and the remastered first one on the PS3, you'd think that would make me a fan but not really, the whole thing oozes cool but the gameplay is quite shallow, to me at least.

I got this last night (having previously owned both games on 3DS) and they're lovely on Switch. Can't go far wrong for €3.99. Both games are quite short but challenging. They also have multiple characters that play very differently so there is great replay value there...

The third one was a bit disappointing, it sort of stripped away things that made the others relatively decent games. It's still decent, just probably not as fun. A collection of 1+2 would be a nice addition though.

TT: I actually really like the Switch build. I like the Joy-Con controller more than I thought. We’re trying to reach as many people as we possibly can. So we’re going to take that opportunity.

GR: BUT THAT OPPORTUNITY COMES AT A COST SINCE IT ISN’T AS STRONG AS THE OTHER SYSTEMS. HOW DO YOU “DOWNGRADE” IT WITHOUT SACRIFICING ITS CORE OR FRAME RATE?

TT: There are special geometry reductions that happen to make it work on the Switch. The end product is actually really fantastic. We’re actually not developing it in house; it’s being developed by Shiver Studios. They’re developing it at the same time as us so it’s sort of a co-development. There is no lead SKU.

Nintendo of Europe has announced that the pricing of games on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch will increase this week.

That change is specific to the South African and Russian markets, and, at midnight on Monday 21st January, will see the company charge more for games that are published by Nintendo.

“Please note that the Nintendo eShop prices of games published by Nintendo will increase from midnight on January 21st 2019,” Nintendo of Europe explained in a Nintendo Switch News Channel post.

“Matters like pricing are constantly under review at Nintendo of Europe GmbH and these price adjustments for the South African market are being made to reflect the market conditions in South Africa.”

Had a quick look this morning but looked to be first party titles only at a glance. 749 to 929 rand for the likes of Xenoblade and Mario Kart which isn't insignificant.

It’s finally happening, Among the Sleep: Enhanced Edition is coming for Nintendo Switch this year!

Ever since Nintendo announced the amazing hybrid console Switch, we’ve had fans asking us for a port of Among the Sleep. With the core of our team being busy working on our upcoming title Mosaic, we didn’t really have the resources to do a Switch port internally. Luckily for us, our longtime partner Soedesco proposed a collaboration.

Soedesco has been working with us on the physical edition of Among the Sleep for Playstation 4 and PC. Both have been very well received by players, so bringing Among the Sleep to Switch was something both of us wanted to do.

It’s been exciting for us to play our game on Nintendo Switch, Soedesco has done a tremendous job with the port. Among the Sleep: Enhanced Edition feels really intimate and personal when playing in handheld mode, and we can’t wait for you guys to try it out on your own consoles. The Switch has turned into a great platform for indie games, and we’re proud to see Among the Sleep up there with so many other great indie titles.

The Switch-version contains all the content from the recently released Enhanced Edition of our game: updated graphics, new dialogue, bonus museum level, art book, etc. As for the release dat, we don’t have one yet. But it’s real and it’s coming and we’ll give you the release date as soon as we know.
