Constructor Plus Teaser Trailer Nintendo Switch
System 3, the UK’s most successful independent games publisher, is chuffed to bits to announce that the highly anticipated city-building sequel Constructor Plus will be available from 15th February on Nintendo Switch and 28th February on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC (Steam) and Mac OSX.

Bringing with it all the comedy and sarcasm of the acclaimed original along with a plethora of original content, Constructor Plus will feature new buildings, new undesirables, new game modes and even new planets in a bold as brass package that will knock players’ socks off.

“We’re really happy to be bringing this long-awaited sequel to both our loyal community and a whole new generation of players,” said Mark Cale, CEO of System 3. “The amount of content on offer is unprecedented in the decades-long history of the franchise – and we didn’t even need to hire any hippies to disrupt the competition.”

The entire package, Psycho-gimps and all, will be available as an upgrade for a mere £10 for existing owners of the original Constructor HD as a loyalty discount using participating digital stores – a first for an independent publisher.

People should recognise the narrator's voice. It's
John Challis, aka Boycie from Only Fools and Horses.

Pikuniku had a bunch of reviews popping up yesterday on YouTube (Switchwatch, NWR, GameXplain etc.) and they all loved it.
The writing is sharp and very funny, it has lots of collectables and secrets, it has a bunch of co-op levels and you can also play through the main game with a friend.

    It's about 4-5 hours long.

As most of you know, the Switch is getting a rake of Final Fantasy games, 7 through to 12, as well as a few others, but there's one notable absentee, 8. 11 was an online game I believe, so its omission is understandable. The story below offers an explanation as to why FF VIII may never happen on Switch, which is a shame.

Why is Final Fantasy 8 never coming to PS4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch?

That music is awful. It looks like a bland Advance Wars.

All I can say is wow. All this from what some call a handheld. I love my Switch more than my family at the moment. Best thing I ever bought. Smash is the bestest thing I have ever been mediocre at. All these ports in handheld mode are fricken awesome.
The thing I love the most with my big shovel hands are the joy cons. They just feel so natural. I was playin smash with the pro controller but I switched back cause the joy cons are that good. And I've had every singles Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft and many other consoles and pc controllers but the joy cons, in a different league!

Yeah I'd say it's coming. I noticed in the nindies direct they hinted at new releases from many of the companies that released all the current switch ports, new donkey Kong for sure. I'm sure sligeach will be along with all the good news shortly he never misses a trick when it comes to the switch.

no negative posts directed at posters here.
Anything else like that will gain a warning, at the very least.

    No bother.
Standing in puddles of petrol are poor places to strike matches, and it appears that some forums on Boards don't take a lot to ignite.

By the same token, all posters should be well aware at this point at the reaction their posts will create, and should be just as mindful.

Super Mario 3D World was an outstanding game, I certainly would have preferred to see it ported to the Switch before the NSMBUDx arrived.

Could I be really greedy and ask that they port over Super Mario 3D Land as well, maybe as DLC or just extra content?

That would be a cracking title to get out there, into more hands than the WiiU original at least.

They needed a 2d mario on the system to be fair and odyssey is still fresh. I know lots of adults who would play the 2d over 3d any day. I wonder if they have a new 2d one in developent?
I wonder how much work would be involved in porting a 3ds game like 3d land?

Maybe I'm in the minority but the Martio game I'd love to see "done up" is 6 Golden Coins

I was only thinking that a compilation of the Mario and DK land games would be a very nice thing indeed, using Super Mario Allstars or Kirby's Fun Pak as a template.
A lot of great fun to had with those.

Only 2D Mario game that makes sense to me to do is Mario Maker. The 2D Mario games have been completely underwhelming for a while, I enjoyed NSMB on DS for the novelty but the last few of them seem indistinguishable from one another except some offering multiplayer. It's not quite at the level like Pokemon where I trust the community to make better games than the Dev's but Nintendo do need to have a think about their next "New" Super Mario Bros game.

Anyway I came to post this

    https://twitter.com/newstargames/status/1088422474184867840?s=19

It's £15. Based on a mobile game but thankfully has no in game ads or purchasing according to their Twitter.

As much as I loved Mario maker, it's just not the same as a properly made game. I grew tired of the standard 2d mario games years ago but getting back to nsmbwud is a breathe of fresh air from the inconsistency of the mario maker stuff. A few new mechanic like we had in odyssey and maybe a new character and its new experience I'd like to see.

My Memory of Us - Launch Trailer - Nintendo Switch

    https://youtube.com/watch?v=UC2JXIbmUl0
Experience a touching tale about a friendship of a boy and a girl, inspired by true events from the darkest moments of human history.

The Evil King plunders the city and his robot soldiers are everywhere. Citizens are segregated, forced to move out of their homes, and isolated from the rest of the city. As usually during war - the tragedy affects everyone, even the smallest ones…

Enter the world of exploration, stealth, and puzzles; narrated by a familiar voice of a legendary Hollywood actor, and take part in a gripping adventure that will melt your heart and make you wonder about your beloved ones.

Check out the official site for My Memory of Us: https://goo.gl/GdTmB9

I'm fairly sure that's Patrick Stewart narrating the trailer. Checked Google, it is. He narrates the game.

I seen this rumour a few days ago on French and Japanese websites. I'm not sure if this is new or maybe it's similar to previous rumours, but anyway here it is as more sites are talking about it.

This new Nintendo Switch is a stunning 4K powerhouse
Double the RAM, four times the storage, and 4K video functionality make this the new Nintendo Switch of our dreams

    https://www.t3.com/news/this-new-nintendo-switch-is-a-stunning-4k-powerhouse

Edit: When I trace it, it goes back to that Japanese site, and their source is a Tweet from Marcus_Sellars which he deleted. And that guy hasn't always been right.
