Seems like clickbait to me. Would be nice if some of it was true though!

Given the cost of the current Switch, I could only imagine how much this model would cost.

I'd be curious to see how this would work in the real world. I think it's possibly partially using the Wii remote technology but in reverse if you know what I mean.

looks amazing but I'm guessing it hasn't just been discovered and there's an obvious reason why it hasn't been done.
Crazy how the 3d effect works even watching the YouTube vid.

God i really hope this is good. V Rally seems to have been a bit of a let down on Switch. Not terrible but just not polished. So this would be great.

I'm still waiting for the really good realistic racer on the Switch.
I mean, it has the horses to give us a Forza Horizon type experience, so where is it!?!

Swords & Soldiers OUT NOW On Nintendo Switch™

    https://youtube.com/watch?v=UHcW41fjQeY

I've this on Wii U, but like a million and one other games, I haven't got around to playing it. Two Tribes are the developer, so you know it must be good.

We actually have a double Swords & Soldiers / Nintendo Switch announcement today, as our friends at @RonimoGames are bringing Swords & Soldiers II Shawarmageddon to the console a month from now, on March 1st!

The lack of analogue triggers basically killed the realistic racer genre on the Switch from the start.

Yet I still remember having a whale of a time with Need for Speed and Gran Turismo on the Playstation with no analogue triggers.
Also, one could map the throttle to the right analogue stick.

NFS was/is an arcade experience. I remember tap tapping my way around the track in GT which, while great at the time, would feel archaic now.

Maybe it could work if you had a realistic handling model but the car's throttle behaved as if the traction control was fully on.

I kind of miss the analogue buttons we had on the DualShock 2...

How many are WiiU ports sligeach? :pac:

Lot can be done with digital controls, for example using the length of the button press to simulate an analogue response.
Obviously, not as good as the proper thing, but even so it's satisfying enough.

If I had to guess, and an extremely rough guess, I'd say 30%. Ports in general? Maybe 80% of the Switch library are ports. It's probably even higher. You can likely add these to the list.

Several Czech eshops leaks the Assassins creed 3 + Liberation Remaster bundle is coming on Nintendo Switch with release date of 2/15/2019, physical copy and price around 35$/35€. (Rumor/Leak)

Ugh, the worst possible ones. AC3 was soulless, and only of note because it was the first one to introduce sailing. Liberation is a PSVita game upscaled, and it was impressive technically in the day, but I can't imagine it's ages well.

If you want to rerelease something, go for Black Flag or the Ezio Trilogy.

For some reason I had it in my head that re2 remake was coming out on switch. Now it seems not so. Seems odd. Thought it would be automatic considering the recent 're releases and the fact it's a remake. Don't really want to buy it on ps4. Too used to handheld gaming now.

I'm not a fan of the AC series (find the games too repetitive, though I hear the last two were a blast), but of the games I played, I thought 3 was the best. Loved the New World America setting and the story.

Switch can't run the engine. They'll probably release it streamed like re7 in Japan but won't see it here

Pretty sure it can run it. Just not anywhere near the fidelity needed to look as good as Resi 2 needs to.

Nintendo Switch Has “Strong and Varied” Exclusives Lined Up For The Year, Says Analyst
Expect to hear release dates for their lineup fairly soon.

I don't think people should be too concerned about Nintendo Switch's pipeline for 2019.

First quarter is certainly a bit light, but we'll get release dates and news for other titles coming in 2019 fairly soon.

Nintendo's first party line up for 2019 is fairly strong and also a bit varied which is good to see. It's just Nintendo will require all of them to be received well because first party titles are one of the main drivers for Switch atm.

Third party will be more of the same. By that I mean do expect ports of older titles. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but the amount of 'new' third parties (that aren't family / JP games) won't be that different from last year.

Certainly a few big surprises this year though.
