Peaky Blinders: Mastermind - Official Reveal Trailer

    https://youtube.com/watch?v=t0p8Eg9ShRc
Peaky Blinders: Mastermind is a puzzle-adventure game, based on the multi-award-winning BBC and Netflix TV show.

Welcome to Birmingham, during the aftermath of the Great War. Set right before the events of Season One, Peaky Blinders: Mastermind lets you join the Shelby family’s criminal gang. Follow the rise of Tommy as he successfully uncovers a sinister plot to put the family out of business, proving himself worthy of being the true mastermind of the Peaky Blinders.

Mastermind refers to Tommy’s ability to plan complex scenarios in his head. As the player, you get to exercise this power by taking control of key members of the Shelby family including Tommy, Arthur, Polly and more. Become the Mastermind as you freely reset and rewind each character’s path in order to tune all of their actions for perfect coordination.

Achieve the highest mission rating by strategically utilizing characters and stealth to solve increasingly complex puzzles with optimum timing.

Metamorphosis | Official Trailer 2020 | (PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)

    https://youtube.com/watch?v=vgwbZo38JCk
Play as Gregor, turned into a tiny bug, and set out on an extraordinary journey to unravel the mystery of your transformation. Metamorphosis is a first person adventure set in a surrealist world where your newfound abilities are your last and only hope for redemption.

You wake up one morning to find that you are rather inconveniently transforming into a tiny bug, while your friend Joseph is being arrested for reasons unknown.

To save him and to find the answers you seek, you must embark on a journey through a world which, like yourself, has become twisted and unfamiliar.

What once seemed like mundane dwellings have become an expansive obstacle course, and now you’ll have to chart your path through the dingy nooks and crannies that exist within the cracks of civilization.

Use your wits to unravel the truth, and regain the life you once knew.
    • A bug's perspective in first person - experience the world in a whole new way
    • Challenging environmental puzzles - parkour, wall climb, search for clues, and overcome obstacles
    • Unique movement mechanics - make full use of your tiny body and sticky limbs
    • A story inspired by Kafka’s imagination - meet eccentric characters in a hand-painted world, as you journey through surrealist landscapes towards The Tower

    It's due out this Summer.

Here's the original trailer from last year.

RETAILER ADDS SWITCH LISTINGS FOR METROID PRIME TRILOGY, RESIDENT EVIL 3, AND MAFIA II: DEFINITIVE EDITION
Can at least one of these end up being true...please?!

    https://gonintendo.com/stories/359675-retailer-adds-switch-listings-for-metroid-prime-trilogy-resident

RMC says that Mafia II: Definitive Edition hasn't been mentioned before. But that's not true. I mentioned a listing here before on the South Korean ratings board for it.

    https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=113063462&postcount=6880

I don't know how reliable instant-gaming.com are as a site, I'd never heard of them before this story.

So then you have Metroid Prime Trilogy which has been heavily rumoured and would make so much sense, especially with 4 being years away.

The one I find odd is Resident Evil 3, I can't see that running on Switch, unless it's a cloud version. Otherwise it would look awful. Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles 2 doesn't look amazing on Switch, this is is on a whole different technical level. The Classic edition would make more sense and would be typical lazy Capcom porting. Though the site has a photo of the Remake.

Metroid Prime Trilogy is rapidly turning into the Half Life 3 on the Switch platform, not to mention Mario Sunshine HD

....so you're saying we'll get a Metroid : Ridley game that only works with the Labo VR elephant rig and goes mostly ignored by the gaming populace at large?

The next direct will be 7 hours of animal crossing. Nintendo have dropped everything to focus on animal crossing and smash. :)

Anyone else looking forward to Streets of Rage 4? I loved it on Sega Megadrive, such a fun game, even today.

If anyone has recommendations for games that you can just pick up a play, fairly fast-paced, like Rocket League, that would be great. I struggle to get into slower paced games these days. I know a lot of people who have put more time into Clash Royale on mobile than all the games on their PS4s combined.

Yes looking forward to SoR4!! My only fear is that it looks a little dark...

Hmmm, look like rehashes of Salamander/Gradius and Raiden to me...

Yes, they are all homages to existing titles, from those you mention to Assault Suits Valken, but they are pretty decent for all that, a three person team responsible.

I see Gemini Wing, which is a good vertical scrolling shoot-em-up is coming to the Switch:
    https://japanesenintendo.com/2020/04/09/gemini-wing-confirmed-for-switch/

It has an interesting power up mechanic ... they tail out behind your ship. The one at the start is the next one that'll be used. So you can pick them up from enemies ; but interestingly in 2 player mode you can chop and change the tail of weapons between players.

I played that for the first time on the C64, a looong time ago, a very nice port too.

I'd still wish the first three Raiden games would make the move to the Switch, 1, 2 and Dx

Has anyone had a look at Telling Lies for Switch? Releasing next week, the idea looks like it could be enjoyable but not sure how it will actually play.

I know this isn't a discussion thread as such, but honest to god I never got the appeal of Deadly Premonition. I've not played it true, but seen enough gameplay to know I'm clearly missing some important aspect of greatness.

INDIVISIBLE DEVELOPERS DIDN'T KNOW THAT THEIR GAME WAS LAUNCHING ON NINTENDO SWITCH TODAY

    https://gonintendo.com/stories/360073-indivisible-developers-didn-t-know-that-their-game-was-launching

    Just one of the Tweets.

I was reading early this morning that the European and Australian eShops out of nowhere had listed this as releasing today. Now this. Someone, somewhere f***ed up big-time. The devs can't be happy about this.

Edit: This story will likely grow, though maybe not in public.

Same, just fired up Splatoon (which is not played since the "final" Splatfest apparently) instead, and it was great craic.

In fairness Ninjala looks a complete rip-off of Splatoon, stylistically

Also, you don't need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to play Ninjala.
