My 12 year old has spent the last two weeks explaining it's merits to me.

I've been doing the same for my three sons since xmas :)

Class. Pokemon Snap is probably my favourite Pokemon game.

Class. Pokemon Snap is probably my favourite Pokemon game.

Probably the one I most played as well. Never played much (bar Pokken) or indeed have anything against Pokemon since.

Bandai Namco is the developer which is interesting. As much as they are probably finished with it now, the Labo VR camera seems an obvious thing to have support for.

I'd say my son is going to love that one,
The DLC is bought but Snap looks great.
I wonder it'll allow sending pictures to a printer or PC for printing?

Never got round to playing Pokémon Snap so I'm looking forward to this.

If you look behind the presenter, you can see lots of Johto Pokémon, including the final starter forms, legendaries, Eevee's johto evolutions, Miltank, Ampharos, Sudowoodo, Lapras, Slowpoke, all playing part of the story from the Gold/Silver/Crystal game. I think this is a hint to next week's presentation and we're getting Let's Go Johto (maybe Umbreon and Espeon as mascots!)

There's also a few Detective Pikachus there so maybe a reveal of the Switch game!

EA are making FIFA 21 $h1tty Legacy Edition. They claim that they've 7 games for Switch, which includes FIFA $h1tty Edition, ancient Burnout Paradise Remastered, last years Apex Legends and they're publishing Lost in Random. We don't know what the other 3 are yet. Probably something old or maybe a Madden Legacy Edition, if we're lucky.

Apex legends is constantly being updated so calling it last years isn't really fair. Be really curious to see how they get it running. Overwatch was a technical marvel but playing at 30fps when being used to 60fp was pretty jarring. Much more than I expected.

That's something people have been speculating on before Apex Legends for Switch was even announced. Fortnite had crossplay on Switch, but was removed between other consoles because they had an advantage playing at 60fps versus 30fps on Switch. The same thing could happen here. I think it is fair to call it last years game, while it may be free to play, there are retail packs on other platforms that are reduced in price, that I'm sure won't be as cheap on Switch if it gets them.

One of the things I noticed from EA's presentation was that they didn't show anything running on Switch. They never do, they probably don't want inferior footage being confused for other platforms. And the legacy versions of FIFA are almost like an afterthought in how they're announced.

Railway Empire - Nintendo Switch™ Edition Trailer (UK) - Out Now

    https://youtube.com/watch?v=PS8g-5iP9VY
Railway Empire lays tracks to new territory. Relive the popular rail simulation game, out now for Nintendo Switch!

In Railway Empire, you’re tasked with building a sophisticated rail network, including train stations, maintenance buildings, factories, and landmarks. Improve the efficiency of your company and make it your own with smart organisation, practical routing and personal touches.

Railway Empire Nintendo Switch Edition will feature the Mexico, Great Lakes and Crossing the Andes DLC and is set to be released in the second quarter of 2020

You'd wonder who does PR at some of these companies. Video rambles off at the end. They put out 3 videos of the same thing. Poor formatting in the description, says it's out now on Switch and ends with it being set for release in the second quarter of 2020.

Next Smash DLC fighter from ARMS will be shown Monday 3pm Irish time.

Looking forward to this. Still play ARMS a lot. Hoping it's Twintelle, but think it may be Spring Man or Min Min.

    The Watchmaker - Story Trailer

    https://youtube.com/watch?v=yT3KA2wdQY0
Madrid, June 22nd - 2020 – The unique title from Micropsia Games will make the leap to consoles, where it will debut on October 8th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
The Watchmaker is a fun platform-adventure with a variety of puzzles, made up of five amazing worlds and featuring giant bosses and special powers such as the ability to turn back time.

Chile-based Micropsia Games presents The Watchmaker, an ambitious platform-adventure in which, guided by a mysterious presence, we will have to explore gigantic environments while exploiting Alexander's engineering skills. Armed with a magnetic glove that allows him to transport objects in the air, the watchmaker will face mechanical enemies, colossal bosses and an intricate level design where there will be plenty of puzzles.

In The Watchmaker the pace of time will be one more enemy to beat, and we will have to collect hourglasses to reverse the relentless aging of our hero. The device that Alexander carries on his back shows a marker with his age: if he exceeds 90 he will die helplessly.

Fortunately, the time break offers some advantages: we will be able to slow down the pace of time to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles. You can even dodge death when you take a bad jump and fall into the void: you can "rewind" the action for a few precious seconds to get a second chance.

This ambitious indie creation mixes a thrilling storyline (in which crucial details of Alexander's past will be revealed to us) with stunning visuals, not only because of the gigantic scale of the scenarios: the bosses of each level will leave you speechless.

The Watchmaker will hit PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on October 8th.

Here are the 7 EA games coming to Nintendo Switch in the next year
So here is the full list of seven EA games hitting Nintendo Switch this year:

    Burnout Paradise
    FIFA 21
    Apex Legends
    Lost in Random
    Velan Studios game
    Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit
Plants vs. Zombies Battle for Neighborville

    https://venturebeat.com/2020/06/22/here-are-the-7-ea-games-coming-to-nintendo-switch-in-the-next-year

The bolded 3 are not confirmed.

Speaking of EA, I'm surprised sites haven't mentioned this. It would appear that Burnout Paradise Remastered for Switch failed to make the Top 40 in the UK.

"There were no other new releases in the charts this week."

    https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2020-06-21-the-last-of-us-part-2-smashes-sales-records-uk-charts

I don't see it here either in the eShop charts.

    https://gonintendo.com/stories/363533-switch-eshop-charts-for-june-20th-2020

It takes very little to get in the Top 40, so this is a failure. A deserved one I might add, charging €60 for an old game. EA must have surely known they were setting themselves up for a fall.

Suda 51 opening the New Game Plus Expo with a short speech, with gameplay of No More Heroes 3 playing in the background, which a lot of was obscured by Suda. Great trolling.

Ys IX was a nice announcement for Switch, and other consoles too.

Better art direction & aesthetic than the main Bloodstained game TBH; found the 3D game very slapdash & rough looking.
