I have a Castelli neoprene glove. The stitching has unravelled across the palm. Looks like fancy stitching. Would anyone have a view as to whether I just drop it into the local alterations shop or is there anyone who might be specialised in this.

I've dropped my wetsuit in for restitching in to a Dublin city centre alteration dude. Perfect job. Swift alterations on Liffey street. I sealed the stitching with Black Witch wetsuit repair glue.

The stiching and alteration shop in Skerries has done a good job on my skinsuit and the Halpinators jacket so maybe give them a try?

I've used this guy to do a normal suit too. Made a bog standard off the rail suit into a much better fitting, almost tailored suit
