Q How many yards can a QB move forward before he can't pass the ball anymore and has to scramble?
He can't pass it once he gets past the line of scrimmage.

Well as a Bears fan, it's nice to see you have something to care about come January. :D

Packers NEED to establish the run early tonight, in my opinion.

As bad as it is to admit, on the one hand I am supporting whoever ye are against, ye do keep it interesting.

This is really, really looking early on like it will live up to the expectations of a high scoring game. Has the feel of a college game at the moment. Even the atmosphere in the stadium is like an SEC team.

Bad missed opportunity by the packers.

    Ah, pooh.

EDIT: F*ck sake. Terrible omen, there.

The falcons fancy this one. And the Georgia domes last game could have a good end result.

Dreadful defensive play calling by the Packers so far.

The 3rd and goal was insane to drop eight and have no spy.

They're ridiculously predictable as to when they'll blitz too.

Odds on Falcons going 100% on third downs tonight?

It's almost like we're watching a Dom Capers defense out there or something. :p

    Absolutely pissing thru them.

Man, that packers defence is weak on the side right. Everyone chews them up there

Packers secondary being badly exposed at the moment. They've been good for the most part against the run but Ryan seems to always have a couple of options on any passing play.

Not looking good for the Packers so far, unable to make a stop on multiple 3rd downs so far, looks like they will be 14 down shortly.

10 - 0 Falcons but the Falcons stopped themselves there with penalties not the packers doing a good job defensively.

Every bad omen that there can be...

I'd argue that's a safety there by the Falcons. No momentum brought him into the end zone? He rolled in on purpose when seeing where he was?

  • Registered Users Posts: 145 ✭✭GeordieRebel

Is that not a safety? Rolled into the end zone?

Should never have gone into that much contact without having both hands cradling the ball. Asking for trouble

I was just wondering. He recovered it, then rolled into the endzone and was downed.

    Surely a Safety?

Why would you ever take any medication with side effects like increased sucidal thoughts ? Jaysus.

He landed on the ball outside the endzone.

It might be a long night for the packers.

Actually looking at the top down view, he hadn't fully recovered the ball until he was in the endzone.

Could have set Gunter's coverage of Julio to the Benny Hill music so far.

In fairness, even Sherman couldn't get to grips with Jones.

Awful defence, this could be a real beating

LOL, farce of a defense again

Falcons are making this look easy. GB defence looks spent.

yeah there's a long way to go but unless the Packers can start doing something to make life even remotely difficult for the Atlanta passing game, it doesn't really matter what the offense are doing.

They were blessed to get out of Dallas. Defence was all over the place. Only thing that saved them was an offence that hit it's stride and Dallas giving up penalties all over the place

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,297 ✭✭✭coco0981

That 3rd and 10 pass to Jones was just so easy. Green Bay defense is not equipped to handle this

Falcons going to the super bowl . To be fair green bay are battered with injuries but no excuses for that defence
