Shower woes

Our wee girl is going on 2 and a half and flat out refuses to go in the shower. This wouldn't be a problem if we had a bath, but we don't.

She'll go into the running shower and play if she's got her waterproofs on and she'll look to help wash mammy or daddy if we're in the shower, but she absolutely will not take a shower.

We've tried bringing her in with us, plugging the drain and letting the water pool for her to bath in the bottom, standing her in there and washing her with the shower head but no success. She goes bananas and absolutely will not be washed. I don't want to make a huge deal of it with her, but she's really outgrowing the plastic bath on the kitchen counter!

    Any ideas?

We have a laundry basket from aldi (obviously it has no holes!) and we pop this into the shower tray, fill with water and little ducks and away ya go. A bath of sorts. We still use the shower head then to wash his hair.
