Hi, Im trying to reinstall Windows 10 on this laptop for a friend:

    http://www.techradar.com/reviews/pc-mac/laptops-portable-pcs/laptops-and-netbooks/voyo-vbook-v3-1326670/review

Ive tested the image and the USB stick on my laptops and it works fine, however whenever I try it on this laptop I just get the above message.

Ive disabled the Secure Boot option but Windows Boot Manager remains the only option in boot options, I cant get USB to appear.

Running Advanced Startup and telling Windows to boot from USB again just gives me the message "System Doesn't Have any USB boot Option".

Dont have a clue what to do now, any help appreciated.

Is there a Legacy boot option you can select in the BIOS ?
Sounds like it's using UEFI and the USB key doesn't have the necessary EFI partition.

No, no legacy option in the bios that I can see and no mention of USB in the boot order so I think I'm screwed.

If you can still boot into windows maybe try updating the BIOS - google it first to see if there's a BIOS that allows USB boot

Check the format of the USB key. Some UEFI BIOSes can only see a boot key if they're formatted FAT32.

Have you tried accessing the BIOS with the USB key inserted? Is the USB key very large, maybe the BIOS can't see USB keys larger than a certain size. If you get a USB DVD drive and put W10 on a disc it might see it.

Assuming there is nothing you can do to change or update BIOS,
There's a few different solutions to this problem.

    Here's one.

    Put
    plop linux
    on a cd
Plop Linux is a small distribution that can boot from CD, DVD, USB flash drive (UFD), USB hard disk or from network with PXE. It is designed to rescue data from a damaged system, backup and restore operating systems, automate tasks and more.

I dont understand how that would let me install Windows 10 on a pc with no USB boot options or disk drive though, is there some trick Im missing or is that for Linux only?

1: put plob linux ISO on a cd/DVD
2: put plob CD and win 10 USB into PC
3: Boot from bios into CD
4: plob after it loads provides you with a menu, one of the options will be usb boot
5: Win 10 usb should load and you can install it then as normal

Oh okay thanks thats a great idea but I dont have a disk drive. Would I be able to boot it from within Windows and then do the Windows USB boot do you think?

Maybe you could use a USB optical drive if there's no internal one. I use a cable like this
    http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Black-White-USB-2-0-7-6-13Pin-Slimline-SATA-CD-DVD-Optical-Drive-Cable-AdapterMO-/262317822398?var=&hash=item3d135c51be:m:mlbF5N76l3tzOxU84ACjSlw
to connect an internal laptop optical drive as an external drive

Okay thanks for that, looks like thats what Ill have to do, there should be one I can borrow at work. Is there really no way to tell Plop to load from within Windows though?

oh , Ok you don't have OPTICAL disk drive also, that's plan A out.

    Plan B
    EASYBCD + PLOP

    1: Boot into windows
    2:Download and install EasyBCD software
    EasyBCD 2.3
Dual-Boot Windows and Anything! EasyBCD is a bootloader modification tool for Windows.
    https://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/
    3: run it - > easybcd
    4: click add new entry
5: click bios extender in portable/external media section
    6: click Install Plop
7:restart PC with win 10 usb plugged in
8:select option easybcd bios extender from EASYBCD menu which appears
9:plop menu appears now click on select usb boot
    10 install win10 from usb
