I was having a chat with some friends earlier over beers and we were talking about pets and sleeping arrangements. Some allow pets to sleep in their room, others don't. I have three small dogs who sleep in my room. One had a cat who sleeps in her room and another had a dog who sleeps in the sitting room.

We got talking about what would happen if we had a partner over for a sexy party and I said I'd have to put the dogs out of the room. The girl with the cat said it wouldn't bother her if the cat was there.

What do you think? Would it be weird to have sexy time with a cat or dog in the room?

I've, basically, refused to have sex because it would mean pushing my Dogs out of the room. Or not coming home to them, when expected.

Animals don't think the same way as humans do. It's not like they would be grossed out or sickened by being in the same room when two humans are going at it. I don't think they would know what's going or, nor would they care. The main reason I wouldn't have my dog in the room is so that they wouldn't start jumping on top of us or messing around or something, or disrupting the whole thing. But yeah if my dog was well behaved and just lay on the ground or something then it would be no big deal to me.

Pretty sure my turtle and snake don't care, nor do I. But cats or dogs kill my mood.

I don't allow pets in my bedroom so it would be a non issue for me. Also depends on the animal - a dog might get excited and try to join in, a cat wouldn't be too bothered and wander in and out of the room as it pleased.

You might want to tweak the thread title OP - in case someone rings and IASPCA and you get a bestiality charge of your lap!:pac:

I'd normally put the dog out or just close the door to make sure but there's been a few times where we forgot and he came in to have a look. It was curiosity more than anything on his part, he just put his paws on the edge of the bed so he could get a good look.

Highly advise against it. Many moons ago I met a nice lady and we retired to her place for some fun and frolics. When we were done as I tenderly cradled the momentary love of my life in my arms there came a terrible huffing, hacking and strangulation like sounds from under the bed followed by a horrendous stench which put a premature end to the evening.

Turns out she had some form of Jack Russell cross which was hiding under the bed but decided a discarded prophylactic would make a good midnight snack. He/she/it ended up puking all over the place trying to dislodge it from it's throat, the stench was truly horrific and the carpet looked utterly destroyed, I made my excuses and left...

Family legend has it that my grandmother used to cover the picture of the Sacred Heart before engaging in baby making activities.

But on topic, her dog was too lazy to climb the stairs, never mind watch the two of them at it.

I even put my two teddy bears facing the other way so they're not disappointed in me. No way would I want a pet to observe the action, especially a cat. They've always struck me as the most judgemental of household pets.
