Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Melt dark choc into cupcake cups
    freeze for a few mins
Dessicated coconut, mixed with melted coconut oil until just about squidgy. Small bit of sugar mixed in to taste
Put onto the frozen chocolate in the cups
freeze again for a few mins
pour rest of dark choc on top
    freeze again

In fairness that sounds like it has potential, though I might go lighter on the dessicated coconut and heavier on the chocolate :D

I sat down on Sunday and planned out my whole weeks training and meal plan.
But ended up not missing towards gym as I was stuck waiting on a delivery. (Between 9am and 11am was actually 6pm).

I'm not somebody who has to train everyday. I like my rest days.
But it genuinely bugs me when I actually plan a particular session and then miss it. No idea why, just unnerves me.

    Anyone ever try hundreds before?

I assume you are referring to the Pilates exercise?
Like alot of the pilates based exercises (I find anyway), you need to be properly engaged with your core.
I have seen people do the exercises and claim it was piss easy which it isn't. If you're not burning you're not doing it right.

Anyway great exercise. I must add it back into my core routine.

    Ah,

Are you talking about the German Volume Training of doing 10 sets of 10 with a moderately heavy weight or are you looking to do 100 reps with a light weight?

Is this more of your annoying gym behaviour?
    putting sprinkles on the dumbells?

    The latter.
Could have been a bit clearer tbh.
I'd never have guessed "hundreds" nests 100 rep sets.

Is it actually a thing? Sounds like a waste of time tbh. But obviously could be some mad theory that I'm unaware of

    The latter.

I can't say that I have come across it as a workout weight training strategy.

I don't think I ahve observed it in the gym either although I tend to not be paying that much attention to others and its quiet when I'm there.

Where did you come across it. Is it for multiple sets of 100?

Now you're making it sound like German volume training. Works pretty well though!

Lol, have done rounds 1 and 2 of GVT and it's tough but very effective. Plan on having another go in the autumn with a bulk, very hopeful.

    10 x 10 = GVT = tough and effective
    1 x 100 = Passing time in a cell

Think my coach has it lined up for after the competition at the end of the month. Yay. All of the calories!

Best of luck, tis nasty but awesome at the same time or maybe it's the masochist in me lol.

I done it on maintenance calories and was dropping a lb per day - no joke, it took me 2 weeks to find a balance.

I tried it before and gave up after 3 sessions - I am a lightweight I know but I just wasn't enjoying it, which is the main thing about training for me. Even if it means sacrificing the gains! :D

Yes, snapbacks are the true markings that the 'douche' is strong with gym users.

Anybody watching the EPF Equipped championships? I've never really watched equipped powerlifting before, but man, it looks weird. Anybody walking to the platform in squat suits just look like they've been sitting awkwardly for too long while the bench shirts make them look like they're wearing invisible handcuffs

But seeing a 120kg junior opening with 275kg for bench is mental

What's your favourite lift lads? Mine's the OHP.

55kg 1x5 is my best if you care

Hmm, I did 53.5kg 1x5 2 weeks ago and will be going for 55kg 1x5 on Friday. Feel free to laugh at me if I don't get it :)

I love the squat. But that's probably because it's the lift I've progressed with the most in recent times

I like the one that's going well at any given point. When squats are going well, it's my favourite lift. When it's not, I hate it!
