Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pea protein is only palatable when blended with a fecck load of fruit & fruit juice.

Tried putting it in soup and it destroyed a perfectly good chicken and veg combo.

Coco powder makes the strawberry whey palatable.

The sugars from the additions make me high as a kite.

Is there any protein powder you can just drink on it's own with water that doesn't taste rank?

I just don't get this. It's like 2 or 3 grams of sugar.

I found ON chocolate was grand. I hated chocolate powder in the past but after I stopped drinking a **** load of red bull and eating sugar loaded stuff it all changed haha.

In some actually off topic news. There's 4kg of brisket in my fridge. It's going to be one hell of a weekend.

There's loads - are you vegan? I'm confused why you're using pea protein but having chicken in your soup...

4kg sounds too light - you want to be picking a weight where you can only manage 8-10 reps tbh :pac:

I thought it would taste nicer, and I have been trying to go more flexiterian, seek out alternatives where possible and see how I get on :o

Anybody else get really badly sick from Hemp protein? I felt horrendous after drinking it then eventually projectiled - heard after there's digestive enzymes you can take prior to ingesting hemp that fix this but the whole experience put me off tbh

You don't find having muscle spasms induced by dry needling unpleasant? When I had my hamstrings and calfs done I was close to tears.

I did mention this to the physio, this evening, ie how my opinion might change of it was my hamstrings that needed doing. He laughed.

And not in a way that made me want to book in for some dry needling of my hamstrings.

That and he went further in, closer to the muscle insertion, and while it wasn't horrific, it wasn't something I'd enjoy having done on a regular basis.

Actually I disagree. Have you ever had this:

    https://www.google.ie/amp/s/allrecipes.com/recipe/223261/authentic-mole-sauce/amp/

Goes great on chicken or beef and is spicey and chocolaty.

Also, I put chocolate in my chilli.

I haven't tried it so won't knock it.
Reading the ingredients reminds me of that episode of friends where Rachael was making trifle

Either the tacos or the tonta. I think it's called to tonta anyway. Just be sure to use their sauces they have. Amazing.
