Im pretty sure it is, It was last year anyways. if you go on the NASCAR mobile app you can download the race schedule and it will be saved into your calendar on your phone too.

• Every race in all three series is now split into three segments - kinda like the All-Star race or Eldora.
• At the end of segments 1 and 2, the top 10 in the field score championship points; and the leader also gains a bonus Chase point.
• At the end of the last segment, the entire field scores championship points (40 for the winner, 35 for second; then down to 1 point for 36th-40th). The race winner scores FIVE bonus Chase points.
• At the end of the 26-race "regular season", the top 10 in points score bonus Chase points from 15 for the points leader, to 1 for 10th place.
• Chase bonus points apply to all of the first three rounds of the Chase - but Miami is still first to the flag wins the championship.

Stage 2 just done at 120 laps of 200. I'm liking the idea of these stages as they throw the caution at the end of it for pitstops.

Interesting that there's a last lap push to get first over the finish line at the end of the stage so they can pit in first. Good idea.

It's actually because the first ten across the line at the end of stage 1 or 2 win championship points.

Sonoma this week, I love the road courses. I fancy Stewart-Haas can take this one. Kurt Busch has always been really good around here and Harvick always does well too. Clint Bowyer has been really good around here too.

Almendinger is really good around here too and he'll be interesting to watch. Anyways it kicks off around 8.30pm and I'm looking forward to it.
