Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Still two points dropped that'll do in the circumstances and Man Utd still haven't beaten Stoke away - how long now? Since they came up or post Fergie

Cracking goal to make him all-time top scorer for United on his own.

Great goal; pity it wasn't a last minute winner.

Great goal, delighted for rooney. Horrific result big opportunity missed today and last week.

  • Two points dropped

    Finishing is a joke

Fair play to Rooney for getting us a point and making the record

The reliance on high crosses for Man Utd is far too much. Not enough variety in their play to pull apart a Stoke defence that's not overly impressive.

4 of our best chances were through balls to ibra
But yet again you know that

I do know that, I know that Man Utd's best play was when they found Ibra in the left side half space. What I'm saying is they didn't do it enough and far too many of their attacks ended in high crosses into the box. But you know that too.

A Stoke defence that can't defend crosses this season, sure why wouldn't a team cross the ball in?

Another point, why the fuck am I replying to you?

Turns out they can...maybe variety is a good thing?

Dunno, should probably stay in your echo chamber.

Why was jose worried more about stoke than his own team. Why leave a player like Carrick out for Fellani. It was madness and must piss off utd fans.

    It wasn't and it doesn't.

Not really,Fellaini did okay.In the first half Stoke hassled and harried and the ball spent a lot of time being hoofed up in the air.The way the second half went would have suited Carrick more,as it was we spent more time missing chances rather than not having them created.Carrick not playing didn't affect us.

If he started Carrick he would have risked Stoke copying Liverpool and sticking on player to him full time. With Fellaini that is nullified albeit at the expense of a potentially more fluent midfield.

If Carrick plays then utd win nearly every time. What leave a player of that quality on the bench.

The irony of you saying variety is a good thing whilst being the biggest fan boy of the most one dimensional manager in history.

Thing is, he's probably one of the most multi-dimensional top level coaches in football history but, for you, football falls into the categories of either long ball or possession so, for the sake of my sanity, I won't continue a pointless discussion.

Did he not absolutely stink against Liveprool last week?

    Different game different situation
Liverpool pressed midfield so he couldn't dominate

    Today's game Utd dominated

Would have been the ideal game for him to come back
