Any deal on Marantz NR-1506

Hi there,

Price seems good on Marantz NR-1506 on richersounds.ie, but any deal or open box currently?
I like the form factor of it but would consider alternatives.
Stereo performance, number of inputs and HDR compatibility is all I care about, as it's mostly to replace a NAD amplifier and cheap DAC, for stereo.

Hi onisad,

The Marantz is a fantastic amp but unfortunately they are completely unavailable both in store and from our main warehouse. The Marantz is also the only slimline AV receiver I've seen, the rest are a bit more bulky. If you can fit a larger unit I would highly recommend the Denon AVRX2300 which is on offer at £399 at the moment. It won the What Hifi award for best AV receiver in it's class and sounds fantastic. It is also fully up to date with connectivity and sound/video formats.

Thanks David! I did pull the trigger on the Marantz on richersounds.ie, as it seemed to fit my needs quite well, and looks like I'll receive it much faster than expected!
I'm sure I'll be delighted as with all my other purchases from you guys!
