Times like now you think that while a team has a period of dominance like the Falcons are having, they really, really need to get a decent number of points on the board. We know adjustments will come, if Atlanta only have a score or two by half time they are going to regret it.

On another note: this is like the opposite kind of game to the one I think anyone was expecting.

Not looking good on offense so far. Really don't want to fall 14 points behind Atlanta.

you dont want to go too far behind against this defence , espicallly what they did to the packers

Jesus I know people like to call games early on here, but 5 minutes in to the 2nd quarter is a bit ridiculous. Especially when its Tom Brady on the other side of the field

there was always a few question marks over the pats D , there offence is spectacular but defense has been suspect

If it wasn't bad enought, refs giving them another chance at the XP after a good stop

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,298 ✭✭✭coco0981

That's the advantage of having so many weapons on offence, double team Julio and leave Hooper one on one in the endzone

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,724 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

No team has come back from being down more than 10 points in a super bowl.

The early runs were a good call and have opened thee Pats up a bit, this Falcons offense is phenomenal and is going to be tough to call what they'll do on any play with this lead.

Yeah but there's only been a few Super Bowls. 14 point deficits are overcome every week, loads of play left in this game.

Yep, it's 2 scores and still plenty of time left in the 2nd. Regardless of how good Atlantic look momentum can change in a flash

Pats lucky here, very generous holding call on the second one.

Atlanta defence keeping them in it

The Pats line is gonna get Brady killed, the Falcons are getting to him on every possession almost

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Falcons were getting away with these calls in the NFC Champ game.

    Blount offering nothing so far.

Never seen three holding penalties in one drive before!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,724 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Three holding penalties on third down by Atlanta is helping the pats out.

That's a killer blow, just shows how big that fumble was at the start of the quarter, Osi will be crowing in BBC studio.

    Atlanta Falcons
You're not coming back from 21 against this offence.

    Abysmal.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 5,045 Mod ✭✭✭✭GoldFour4

Falcons with first possession of second half - could be over after that. Pats just not at the races at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,724 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    Well then.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

That throw should have went to Edelman.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Falcons gonna eat up that clock in the second half. Looking like one quick superbowl.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,654 ✭✭✭✭paulie21

2 turnovers in the redzone. Very unlike the Pats
