    Every electrician has received some LV training as part of their apprenticeship.

    Specifically general fundamentals. Equipment and components including protective devices. safety practices and earthing and all that .. mainly a complete outline really. It would be for electrical engineers as they all may not have the correct training under their qualification. I can see courses in the UK but our company would prefer to put people through training somewhat locally.

    http://www.powerpoint.ie also offer these I think but not certain

    there is so much available in the UK due to legislation which is non existent here unless you want to put a socket in a house
    In the UK Authorised and Senior Authorised Person training is a requirement and training is commonplace
