Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Reseal tab on Robert Roberts ground coffee?

Anyone found it? I quite like the coffee but am baffled by this little annoyance. It says on the pack to reseal it by folding the top over and using ' the reseal tab on the back of the pack'. Thought the white strip down the back seam might be self adhesive, but can't peel anything off it. (I don't know what the little round thing inside the back is for; the little brown plastic bit inside it is removable, but it's not a clip, and says ' Wicovalve' on it)?

the valve thing is for freshness / aroma (to keep it) Not sure which coffee you have by the name but usually there is a sticky strip, but on some ground coffee I remember there was like a twisty (you see them holding small cables together like earphones usb cables etc in the box, like a thin wire covered in plastic) made into the top where you open the coffee and you would then fold down the open packet and bend the twisty (don't know the proper name) around the back of the pack thus sealing it.

Also the likes of tesco coffee have a resealable sticker on the back but you would doing well to spot it as it is the same colour as the packaging (black).

Thanks both. No sign of a twisty or sticker though. I remember some make(s) we've had having a hard-to-spot disc-shaped sticker, but not this packet. The one I'm looking at is Robert Roberts 'Java' fresh ground coffee'; one of a range stocked (sporadically) by our local Mace & Centra (& Supervalu I think).

I'm curious to know how the valve thing does its job (though maybe life's too short!).
