Slow USB sticks are insufferable. They're so cheap in general these days that a generic, slow USB2 drive like the one in the OP is a bit of a false economy really. I'd say transferring larges files on it would be pretty painful.

I have one of those, I'm very happy with it. Its very fast in a USB3 port
