Just watching this now.

Andrade V Strong was good. The end was annoying when Strong just recovered with ease from Andrade ctaching him with two big moves. Andrade was the star but they needed a strong face (pun intended).

Also screw the app for spoiling the main event.

Some cracking tag team matches on NXT.

AOP used very well there. Two big lumps with the right kind of backgrounds. Still look a bit dangerous but considering how long they are training well done to them on getting to this place already.

Not sold on the lady foursome. Ember Moon and Liv Morgan are more interesting and engaging than how Billie and Peyton are presented. Cross is like a bad panto villian.

They could be presented better.

Main event was a glorious success.

Good show overall, opener can be skipped though.

Very enjoyable Takeover. Strong Almas was really good and a big win for Roddy. DIY were absolutely fantastic again vs AOP. They are so unbelievably over! When Gargano wins the NXT title it will be the greatest moment in NXT history. Womens match was very ordinary. I guess we get an Asuka vs Nikki Cross match on NXT tv before WM to blow off that feud and build to Asuka vs Ember Moon at Mania Weekend.

The main event was really well done. Nakumuras selling was really good and Roode being a dick heel beating an injured opponent suits his character perfectly. Interested to see how things shake up noe for Mania weekend. Chris Hero, Tommy End and Roddy should be in around the main event scene now. Many different directions they can go for Takeover Orlando.

Good show all in all, thought the tag title match was MOTN followed by Cien vs Strong. Opener was average, womens title match was fine.

Wasn't that high on the main event, final third was very good but the first 2 thirds were both pointless and interminable too. There's few things I hate more in a big match where the last 3rd doesn't link at all to what went before. Roode's work on Nakamura's neck amounted to nothing and the whole thing was done at the pace and intensity of a middle of the card house show match. Really for mostly the strong finish alone I'd go ***1/4

HHH gave an interview to the lovely Cathy Kelley on Facebook afterwards and was saying it looked like Shinsuke had a dislocated kneecap so he may be out for a while (storyline injury presumably).

Unfortunately I saw the main event result in the memes thread, but still how he got there reinforced him as a heel.
Having Shinsuke at the Rumble, hobbling to the ring could be good, in the sense that's he's selling it. But at the same time he wouldn't be cleared to take part.
Why did Matt Bloom go out there? Thought he was going to throw in the towel or something, leading to a backstage rivalry with Regal as he was taking his place for the night.

For the women's match, it just felt like Asuka's title wasn't at risk. Also I think Peyton and Billie need some new ring gear.

HHH mention Rollins in the interview? Is this the first time he was a heel on the show?

I felt for the women's match it would have been fun and make sense if Billie and Peyton best of friends kept laying down for each other when ever Asuka & Nikki were fighting so Asuka & Nikki would have to stop fighting and break up the pins or when they put Nikki through the table just go back to the ring and let one of them pin the other.

He was asked about Rollins and he kind of acknowledged his two different sides, "the creator" when it comes to NXT and also "the destroyer". He said something like the destroyer was never far away and Rollins knew where to find him or something like that.

Corey's gonna be a huge loss. I wasn't a fan when he started but he turned out to be brilliant. I guess he couldn't really keep it up.
If Nigel is even half as good as Corey, then he'll be grand.
