That's what I call smart buying and smart selling. You did well!
Did it a good few times last year when I bought a car with tax and sold a few months later when the tax ran out for a very decent profit
It wasn't intentional! I didn't expect the Prius to hold its value so well. Having said that I did a lot of shopping around before buying and got one of the best value ones for sale (travelled to Bristol).
Only ever made money on one car. Bought an old car for 200 which needed work (50 in parts, did the work myself). Sold it 2 years later for 2800! I was lucky though as demand for those type of cars was going up anyway.0 -
