Post office staff and privacy with AIB/prize-bond accounts

    Two questions:

    1) Now that AIB customers can do some banking stuff at post offices, does that mean that post office staff can access info like your account balance etc? Say for example if you're lodging or withdrawing some cash there from an AIB account, can the staff see the balance figure or is this kept private?

    2) This is probably a silly question, but can post office staff see the total value of prize bonds a customer might have?

And no, I didn't just win the euromillions jackpot! But just really wondering how private your account info is when it comes to post offices, as out in the sticks people often like to know everyone else's business!
