Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did the commentator really just say this is probably Bastis last game!! Piss off

Very sloppy start by BS but he got way better throughout the game.

Its the least the most expensive team, OF ALL TIME!!!!!! should be doing.

We need to be putting the weaker teams to the sword.

    Like Wolves did.

Bastian Schweinsteiger, has to be MOTM.

That's 2 assists and a goal in 2 appearances under Mourinho for him. Happy for him, but also for the team, he's definitely an option.

Edit: I could be remembering his 'assist' from his first appearance wrong. He was brought on late against West Ham in the EFL and created a move out of nowhere down the wing after a throw-in, for our 4th and final goal in that game. I think someone else made contact with the ball between Basti and the goalscorer though, still, he made that (essentially unimportant) goal. #truth>thanks #gwanyagudting

2 assists for martial but I'd say he is desperate to score

Remember the good old days when ander was able to keep all his shots on target :)

Is he registered for the EL?

Be nice to get a good win Thursday so as to allow for a more comfortable second leg.

I read a headline on the United reddit during the week that said "Schweini reportedly registered for the EL". Since the source was the Mirror, I clicked no further, but hopefully he gets in.

We rest players cos we have 3 games in a week, other teams rest players cos they have 3 games in a month and now have no trophies to play for.

What was the reason for substituting the keeper? Is there a chance Romero could go?

Just giving the kids a run out,a nice kick in the nuts for the "Jose doesn't trust the kids" brigade.

Giving him some game time and a break for De Gea.

Romero is very capable, so not using him at all would be a waste.

Lads I really feel the quality of this thread has gone to the dogs.. I know we have loads of new posters but come on like we have gone from having Kate Upton gifs and hayley gifs too....... Gifs of a turkey.

Perriera was playing first team football but was recalled to give Johnstone a chance to get some games this season.

    José throwing him a bone.

Ref didn't help in the first half, it was like he was very reluctant to punish Wigan for a fowl, and seemed content to just let them gobble up possession with aggressive challenges.

Better second half though. United did some good work on both wings, largely due to a joint effort from our fullbacks and Mkhi/Martial.

Happy for Basting Schweinstegier, he had a very good game.

Good win in the end. It did seem early on when Wigan were controlling the game and having a few chances that we were gonna throw this game to the wolves, but thankfully we still have a good shot at the crown.

    Better from United.

Aye, he was a constant threat going forward.

Granted it's Wigan and we were afforded alot of space but it will hopefully do his confidence good.

I'd love to see a similar shape for the next game.

Could someone explain the bird meme background?

Ah Jay, a few posters are getting a few laughs out of it for the couple of games in the aftermath of that post.

I'm quite happy to get my sexy material from places other than the United Superthread, but I don't ask the few who are enjoying the wimmin gifs to stop on my account.

I'm sure that there isn't one of us who thinks that we're reinventing the comedy wheel with these Dustin jibes. It's completely silly and just a bit of (temporary) craic, and will be gone very soon I'm sure.

Please read my response to the Headshot question about martial and you will see I was messing pal ;) I'm enjoying the Dustin joke as much as anyone we will get alot of mileage out of it still.

10/10 for the turkey references, this one will just keep giving.

Little rant referencing Dustin the other night. Classic, still not on the level of Philsbury Doughboy who has the greatest boards rant ever but still a good one

Was wondering alright, there seemed to be a glitch in the Matrix. If it's any consolation, I worked it out before I read this post :pac:
