Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Two dives for both penalties. But some comeback indeed. PSG were atrocious for 99% of the game.

I still can't decide if the first one was a pen

Well, we just fell to no.2 on the list of greatest European comebacks.

    Where does Istanbul come?

Raul, the Real Madrid legend on CNN today, he says Zlatan is like a 27/28 year old and has another 2 to 3 years to go.

As I go into Veruca Salt mode: I want Neymar at United playing on the left next season.

    Fookin hate Barcelona.

Anyway. Looking forward to an easy win tomorrow. I can feel it. 2-0 to us.

They beat Bayern at home and lost narrowly home and away to Athletico in the champions league group stages. I hope your right but I reckon this could be a tough game tomorrow

I'd happily take a 1 goal defeat back to Manchester to be honest.

Happily is the wrong word, but I'd be ok with it.

I wonder if Jose will make a play for him? Maybe Wenger will throw in Sanchez too.

He is looking for first team football.

Not good enough IMO for a starting place in our team.

I can see him going to someone like Everton or Southampton, will be guaranteed a start at those kind of clubs.

He is a decent player but would/should be nothing more than a squad player at United.

Just a friendly reminder that we are the 6pm match tonight. I had mistakenly thought it was at 8pm dunno why as there is no way we would be playing at 8 in Russia :D

  • 6pm kick-off on a **** pitch :/
I nearly do want miki to start, fear of injuries

I'd love another 3-0 win tonight to put the tie to bed. We NEVER do it easy though.

    Predicting 0.0.

Expect low scoring game. If we score first I think we win, but expect poor game with that pitch

I believe thats called a "lets get a ****ing 0-0 and go home" line up.

Cant work it our unless it jones RB, Blind LB and Young on the wing they must have slow enough wingers if thats the case.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,389 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Surely it's just Blind in midfield and Rojo LB. Herrera on the right and Micky on the left.

Playing Smalling, Jones and Rojo at the same time on that pitch? Blind as well so there's every CB option bar one injured so :p

Rojo our new DM.. tbh he is comfortable enough on the ball and he can be our midfield destroyer..

Either that or 352 and Blind can step out when needed..

Not sure about the formation but it's clear Jose wants to bring this tie back to OT with no nonsense performance tonight

I'd be happy with a 0-0 and no injuries.

Probably Jones at rb and Young on the wing.

:D UEFA doesn't care about the players, so Jose decides that they get this:

Brilliant 2 touches from Ibrahimovic for the goal

I wish Pogba wouldnt hold on to the ball so much at times

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,843 ✭✭✭GSPfan

The referee is shocking. You just need to fall over to win a free kick. And if you roll around then the other guy gets a yellow. Simple.

    Rojo has been Very good

For me that's his biggest fault and the root of all his problems. He takes too long to act and invites players onto him, which then makes him wrestle them and he ends up stuck.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,690 ✭✭✭ElChe32

These Russians are soft shítes. Any touch and they fall over, Miki has put himself about. Fellaini has been very good in his duties. Comfortable enough first half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,597 ✭✭✭✭Trigger

Would be surprised to see Romero hang around in the summer. He's way better than a back up keeper

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,228 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

    Phil Jones again.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,690 ✭✭✭ElChe32

    Oh Phil...shambles of a player.
