Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yep. Turkeys and Thanksgiving all over the thread, it's like being in Virginia on the 4th Thursday in November.

Wigan got stuffed. Did we use that one yet?

Was good to see the lads gobble up most of the chances we created today. We really are flying in the cups recently. I think if we win 2 cups and get top 4 this season it will be a huge sign that soon we will be ruling the roost once more under Jose

So the Guardian have gone with a headline of 'Anthony Martial stars as Manchester United stroll to victory over Wigan' and claim he did enough to start against Hull during the week after Mourinho said he would if he had a magnificent game.

Surprised they think it's so clear cut.

I'd like to see him start myself but wouldn't be shocked either way.

Wigan were plucked and hung.It was like Thanksgiving and Christmas when the final whistle blew as they were well and truly stuffed at that stage.

He did ok,at one stage in the first half Rooney had to point to him to make an overlapping run,he seemed reluctant to do so

Good but nothing stood out about him. Defended well but didnt do much up top that i seen. It was a good reintroduction to the team.

I think tfm looked really solid and mature today he didn't look like someone that hasn't been a first team starter all that much this season he was full of energy going forward and worked well on the overflap.

I think we might see a bit more of bastian there now or at least him playing instead of Carrick but with ander sitting little deeper.

Ya I hope we do see more of Basti, rotating him and Carrick could work

Basti showed today in the second half that he still has something to offer.

Not sure if I'm zerksin' here or if this is fresh, but Jose said in the post-match press conference that Young could possibly flea the coop before the window closes. He is the only player who Jose is unsure of as regards staying beyond January. Jose wants him to stay, but Ashley is currently considering his options.

That's why he was nowhere to be seen today. Jose wanted to give the chance to players who definitely would be here for the rest of the season.

Any of those 'born, bred and employed in England' players considering the move to China, it would be some culture shock I imagine. Just quitting the league, your life, your country, your friends, extended family...all cold turkey, the money would want to be amazing for such a change in situation.

And on that note...Chinese New Year kicked in yesterday and it was almost beautiful for the thread...Year of the Rooster.

Sorry but I posted that hours ago, and in the meantime for Wigan they appeared like turkeys who had voted for Christmas, as United dined on a 4 course dinner at Old Trafford.
