Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wouldn't have it any other way. :D

I'm half expecting an investigation into Rojo using performance enhancing fruit during the game last night. :P

Have to say keane was dead right, rostov were awful, should have used more of the squad if players were so tired as mourinho said.

Busy end of season and two games to fit in them dates we will be playing easily 2 games a week if we progress next round of Europa league.

Between Burnley and Swansea one game and before the Palace game the second id assume.

April is fcuking insane, 9 games in 30 days.

It will be 10 games, Southampton or City will be put in the last week of April. Midweek gap between Burnley and Swansea

Keano giving Jose stick and rightly so, man up lads.

Keane is just moaning and it's nothing new. Every manager talks about fixture congestion and Keane is living in parallel universe.

What Keane is saying is that Mourinho is trying to mask over some god awful performances with bull**** excuses. Utd are dirt to watch, Mourinho is pulling out all the tricks to deflect from it instead of saying it's not good enough, or that his team didn't perform.

But the fixture congestion is not excuse, it's what happened. For example ManUtd played Liverpool on Monday when we had game on Thursday. No way ManUtd should have been asked to play on Monday when they had game on Thursday in the same week.

Jose is not using the squad, maybe he doesn't trust all the players and that's his mistake.

He went out and used a limited squad - particularly in the early rounds of the mickey mouse cups in England. He can't be moaning now.

Its games like yesterday where the likes of TF Mensah, Luke Shaw, Schweinsteiger, Carrick, Young, Darmian should be playing to give the others a break. Plus I don't think anyone would be afraid to see a debut or short cameo from some of the reserve players. Tuanzebe for example would have been nice to see at a game like yesterday

I think they'd be playing if we were prioritising the league over the cup.

My guess is because we are going to be prioritising the cup over the league, the first team will be played heavily in it.

So for that reason he should talk about having to play on Monday before Europa tie? Good.

Mourinho said United have lots of enemies.

Didnt he say the exact same when he was at chelsea 2 seasons ago?

    Why always him?

Any quotes from his time at Chelsea? I know he said about refs but not Chelsea have many enemies.

People were talking about squad rotation and our tough run in six months ago, when certain players were playing every game and and certainly before and during the January transfer window.

We all knew this congestion was coming, Jose has done a lot right this season but this is one area he has made mistakes in.

I have said the same thing. Looks like he doesn't trust few squad players so he didn't rotate properly. That's his mistake.

I'd imagine Memphis and Schnderlin would have been getting more games now if they'd stayed. Strikes me when they went in the winter, we could have done with some transfers in, but the targets he wanted weren't available, so he didn't buy "for the sake of it".

Be interesting to see what sort of summer we have.

So you wanted Jose to do a Klopp and **** up all the cups? Thank god ManUtd are better than that.

Man Utd will never get an easier path to a Euro cup (and the CL) than this years EL - very weak last 8 compared to recent years.

We really couldn't be asking for a better draw, possibly Lyon getting Schalke but Lyon Besiktas is very pleasing too.

We should be well able to take Anderlecht over the two legs, especially with the 2nd one back at OT.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,406 ✭✭✭Korat

    That'll do nicely. :)

The only people that jose can't say are against us are the guys that have been doing the Europa league draw. We couldn't ask for better.

Yeah, I don't think there are any easy games at this stage, none can be taken for granted.
