not really, he was an excellent player along with Rafael when they were both younger, just never went to the the next level

Lingard shows an urgency to get the ball forward that I love. Wish Mata had that urgency, he slows everything down to run sideways across the pitch.

Best I've seen lingard in some time, the link up play is good

Mata already getting shít.

He made a nice run in behind to create our best non-scoring chance of the first half where only for a superb double-stop from Valdes, we would have had a nicely worked goal.

He's been picking up the ball and spreading possession well and has been part of the reason, along with Lingard, we've been getting forward a bit.

Not a game for his highlight reel so far, but he's doing alright.

Have to laugh at the criticism of Rashford in the match thread. If you are younger than Pogba do you not get the same leniency from criticism? Or do you have to be only 23 before that kicks in?

I hope Rashford can stay free of major injuries over the next few years because he has the potential to be something really special. Reminds me of Ronaldo a bit in his early years, he's so skillful it terrifies defenders but the end product isn't always there yet.

Regardless of how good he looked he would be, he was parachuted into a final against the best team in the world. He was fleeced in the final too.
