Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How exactly is this any better than last year?

Ha yeah let's judge the season on 35 minutes.

Your agenda is so tiresome and boring at this stage.

He is still miles better in the no10 role. This is awful tonight so far

Meh he may be but on current form he can have no complaints.

You are just picking out a certain player to continue your agenda.

I wouldn't mind Mkhi coming on. He can join the attack a lot quicker and push Everton back towards their goal

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,978 ✭✭✭BenK

    Terrible stuff so far.

Daley Blind has been all kinds of awful so far.

To be fair, it's not Fellaini's fault we're losing. That's 100% DDG and Rojo. We looked ok until we conceded.

    Yeah because its just tonight.

Before this we were free flowing attack. How many SOT against WB, 3?

Lots of possession and not a clue what to do with it.

Same as last year. Only for Zlatan, which LVG didn't have, we would be way down the table.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

    De Gea again. Seriously.

The team look like they've taken sedatives. Very disappointing.

There's no point in trying to explain it if you think it's the same as under Van Gaal.

While Young has an admirable work rate and attitude it would seem, I really think he offers very little to the team.

Jose must realise the job he has on his hands now.

Who of the current team/squad will still be there in 3 years time. Not many I'd wager.

No he has not. I'm sorry but he's been one of our better players

That team is so bang average.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

Jose needs to kick a few arses there and wake them up. Anything less than 3 points is a disgrace at this stage. Too many opportunities missed to capitalise

The least impressive unbeaten run in the history of football is in peril.

You think its better? Ok, listen I'm not out to rile anybody but IMO this team is muck. Yes the move the ball around faster but other than that there is little improvement.

Apart from Zlatan, there has been no improvement in the players levels from last year. A few glimpses every now and then and that is what keeps the belief that something is going to click..

That is fine for Sept, Oct and Nov. You start to worry a bit over Christmas but put in down to tiredness. This team is no more a threat then it was.

Hate saying it but we deserve to be a Europa League team.

Plenty fellas out there have no business being at United.

I don't understand how despite the defensive injury crisis, they still end up with Young as a makeshift right-back. Now he wasn't at fault for the goal (what in the name of f*ck were Rojo and DDG at?), but for someone renowned for his pragmatism in terms of keeping it tight at the back like Jose is, I genuinely see it as trying to make another (public) point to Shaw.

He is playing number 10 role and has offered sfa going forward no creativity no probing passes nothing .

Play him deeper and let him break up play but play our creative players further forward.

Not even mad about the goal, because we haven't even got a functional attacking threat. Some serious lack of ideas and some bang average players.

Also De Gea needs to get his act together.

same every game he is a joke

Does bangkok have a slightly narcissistic blonde mane?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,978 ✭✭✭BenK

The problem with the team isn't just quality, it's attitude too. There's too many fairly average players there, or players who have done relatively very little, who think they're far better than they are!

It'll be ok though, they'll tell us on social media after how they'll keep fighting and luck just wasn't with them.

That was a cheeky but clever attempt from Jagielka, I can't really be too harsh on DDG or Rojo for it.

Our play either side of the goal has been so slow. With the attacking way Everton are playing, I'd say that Mkhi would be a great addition, this game would suit him far more than West Brom. However, we do already have two pacey, technical players on the field in Rashford and Lingard. Any chances to set them on a counter-attack were slowed right down with a backwards or sideways pass.

In fairness to the wide players, there have been a few decent crosses put in to the Everton box, but bizarrely with both Ibra and Fellaini on the field there have been no attempts to get players into good areas in front of goal to receive the ball.

In fairness, the unsettled nature of Mhiki inclusion is clearly not productive. We don't have attacking players all firing and in form, some players need to get a run.

The lack of consistent runs being afford Mhikytarian is beyond stupid from Mourinho at this stage

Getting to the point where you question does he even trust attacking players

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Does anyone seriously think we will score twice in the second half?

Poor state of affairs when I have zero confidence in it happening.

Feels like the wheels are coming off the season these last few weeks.

Jose needs to try and get a grip on this. This group of players aren't anywhere near world beaters but are better than what we are being served up these last few weeks. The unbeaten run is becoming an unwanted distraction and hopefully isn't somehow masking the reality of the situation.

    Pogba on. Yay.

Blind off. Double yay. Worst player in a Utd shirt by a mile in that half.

Meh I dont agree with you and I think your obvious dislike of the Mourhino appointment is gradually creeping up and colouring your opinion imo.

Any chance Pogba could step up here ...nah didn't think so

  • When's the last time we scored in the PL in OT? Time wise I wonder.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,419 ✭✭✭secman

Truth is we haven't played well for quite a while, definitely not getting best from the players, nothing like it at all. Any half decent displays and we would be 3rd with the chances we have had from our rivals. Another write off of a season having spent **** load of money again :(.
