Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm reading palace had 28% possession. How is that little ball and winning 3 nil even possible. That's just an insane statistical anomaly.

Do we have to play them again?

Ive never watched and pretty much ignored the whole arsenal tv thing but might give it a craic tonight where does one watch it.

Yeah they have to play 4 of the top 6 in their last 7 matches. City, united, Spurs and Pool. No idea what order

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,779 ✭✭✭✭jayo26

Only hope we may have of 4th is to keep within distance of city until we play them. It's very slim tho.

It's not as good as it used to be. This season has broken them to the point t they don't even seem as angry after a result like this.

You'd think that and for that we need to beat Chelsea home and Burnley away. Chelsea have looked a bit weaker lately so I suppose there's a chance but it's unlikely.

Home game though should suit us against palace.

I'm enjoying the downfall, but I also feel guilty for it too.

I have huge respect for Wenger and what he achieved and his team from 97-2004 was magnificent .

The only side that United ever played that I really thought if we were not on our game that we would get stuffed 3 or 4 nil.

Now it's disappointing to drop points to them.

Very unlikely but at least it's something to aim for.

Poor Wenger, its getting as bad as the end of Moyes at OT.

It's all well and good laughing at Arsenal but I still think we're likely to finish below them.

Our difficult run of fixtures combined with congestion and our form this entire season could result in a pretty embarrassing points tally come the end of play.

    6th of may :D

Edit: Just to clarify we are talking about Palace here not Arsenal

We won a trophy and are in the running for another and are 3 points ahead of them. They have no plans for the future and it's full of doubt.
I take the season as it comes but I know who I'd prefer to be

    Jaysis Arsenal.

That's their +6 goal difference over us wiped out in one weekend.

Arsenal have gone to ****e, I'd still rather see them finish top 4 instead of Liverpool

I think Liverpool are certain for top 4 now. Arsenal are gone from the equation, in free fall now. I don't think Utd will get it due to the tough premier league games and Europa league ties in between. Luckily for yourselves the Europa League is their for the taking and will get you a champions league spot.

What are the qualification rules if we come fifth and win in Europe? Does 4th place lose their slot?

    No.

Has to be the most frequently asked question in this thread.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,080 ✭✭✭TonyD79

No countries get 5 places max so if both Leicester & Utd win only top 3 will qualify.

And if we finish in top four and win Europe does that mean a team from league two will get into Europe?

FFS! For the last time, if we finish in the top four and win Europe then Manchester United qualify for the World Cup and Liverpool Arsenal and Man City get relegated to the UFC.

What part of this are you not getting!

29 year old belgian, hmmmm not really worth signing at this stage of his career

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,333 ✭✭✭brinty

saw in the indo this morning Jose is ready to sell Janujaz as part of a summer clear out, hardly surprising given that every manager since Moyes has said he's had a bad attitude. LVG, Dortmund and two belgian managers (Wilmots and Scifo) have all had issues with him, so good luck Adnan i guess?
