Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Some lovely passing tonight, a second goal would just be perfect.

Nick Powell just scored a 10 minute hat trick for Wigan after coming off the bench.

Yeah but neither of them can seem to not run into the full back at the earliest opportunity.

Yeh my follow up would be if only they could produce something.

And he couldn't even win us the Europa League!

Pogbas indecision and reluctance to pass the ball simple and early is his biggest problem in my eyes. Its hard to explain but he receives the ball, dilly dallys, and then ends up using his backside to hold off a player while he tries to pass it. He almost invites players to tackle him.

Yeah i hate when he does that too.

Enjoying watch Tielemans play tonight he seem to keep everything simple

I'm sorry to everyone who idolises him but Zlatan has been an absolute waste of space tonight. Its like playing with an injured player up front. He is barely moving.

Our inability to finish is killing us again for the umpteenth time this season.

Incredibly frustrating but not at all surprising.

Story of our season. do more than enough to win by four or five, but finishing lets us down as usual.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow, don't think this will be as easy as people are anticipating. I'd take a 1-1. Be interesting to see Anderlechts young midfielders Tielmans and Dendockner, both being touted for bigger things.

Not a disaster but really should have put the tie to bed.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,346 ✭✭✭Quandary

Considering how we played that is very very disappointing.

Martial a shell of last years player, devoid of confidence. Hopefully he has the character to come through this bad season and isn't the end of him.

    It was Fellanis man.
Fellani doesn't even need to win the header take a step in front of him and he never gets on the end of the ball.

He's a liability around his own box.

Why was Rashford taken off? Mkhitaryan was crap but he did score. Zlatan was as awful as he has ever been. Martial. Pogba was restrained for too long. Lingard was Lingard.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 1,861 ✭✭✭fuzzydunlop85

Martial was shocking when he came on. Think he will be out the door in the summer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,812 ✭✭✭thelad95

We really should be 2-0 up at least and comfortable, now we have a sweaty game next Thursday, literally learned nothing from the Rostov game.

We are far from certs to win this thing, lack of killer instinct is crippling us over and over again.

A poor season for Manchester United.

Disappointed to concede such a sloppy goal especially since we should have been 3 up.

We are still in the driving seat but the second leg is gonna be tough.

Disappointing result considering the overall performance and chances.

It's a real pity. Terrific performance, thought the team played well. Still a good result to take back to Old Trafford anyway

Zlatan was very good IMO, some of the balls he was giving were sublime, unfortunately there wasn't always the communication for others to make the run in behind when he drifted out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,346 ✭✭✭Quandary

If we can't beat them at OT then we will deserve to be turfed out on our arse. The amount of draws we've had this season has been horrific, even more so considering how many draws should easily have been converted into wins if even one of the multitude of chances was put away.

    Fcuking very annoying

Shocking defending for the equalizer. Should have put that tie to bed tonight

    Glazers Out!

Fellani should have attacked that header. Can't understand why he was standing still ball watching

    It's still advantage Utd
    Settle lads

Getting the away goal the most important thing from the game.
Conceding from their only attempt on target is annoying.
Watching us play is so frustrating the amount of times attacks break down because the players take too much out of the ball or there's nobody to support them.

Probably harsh on him but what does Fellani do to deserve so much playing time , he can't defend, he can't attack , can't pass the ball very well.

Kind of disappointed with the result, but the not finishing chances, symptom of United's season to date.

You are drunk. You need to sleep it off.

If Ozil or Sanchez did as much casual walking around the pitch tonight as Zlatan he would be crucified. If Pogba misplaced a pass he'd be slaughtered. But Zlatan, he scores goals so cannot do anything wrong. He was awful tonight.

Agree Ibra had a poor game. He was very pedestrian and seemed to muck up every pass he tried to make :/
