Lisfranc Injury

Has anyone had a lisfranc injury? I'm going to get it fused in March and I'm dreading it. I've read 6 weeks cast and then a further 4 weeks with a boot. Full recovery might take a year... Appreciate anyone who's been through this if they can shed more light! Thanks

Hi,

I know this post is really old but I was searching for anything regarding Lisfranc and this was the only post on boards from someone who had one - I will be having fusion in about 2 months time i think, misdiagnosis means healing started so needs to be more healed before I can have surgery. I'm just wondering how you got on with it all?
