Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Wonder which one buckled

Was always going to happen to be honest.

The loss of Sky's money would be a massive hit for Discovery, especially after they already sank $1 billion for the rights to the Olympics, not to mention their ad revenue would've also been likely to take a dip due to a loss of viewers.

Discovery also has too many dedicated viewers for Sky to risk losing. I'd say it was a compromise somewhere in the middle. Whether either of them are happy with it is another story.

EDIT: Just in time for the CAF ACoN semis as well, nice one!

Eurosport used to be great years ago before the price of football rights went mental. Eurogoals on a Monday night was essential viewing in the pre-Internet age.

They'd have great highlights programmes on international nights and even show mad random games from early rounds in European club comps. Even showed Shels live v Killie, Rangers and Rosenborg!!

Showed Derry City V PSG from the Brandywell in the UEFA Cup back in 2006 before the BBC took the return leg in Paris

Eurogoals was fantastic, the best goals roundup show there was. Tim Caple is still my favourite voice during football matches.
