Hi, if iown two cars, say a rav and a lancer.
Cani have the rav insured by one company? And lancer by a different company.
I know its two seperate policys, but someone said if youown two cars, you will only be insured on one, and cannot get seperate insurance on the other as you already are insured with one company....regardless if its a different car.
    Anyone know? Cheers

Have a search of this forum.

Some co's will mirror your NCB so you can insure two cars with them and not have to do one with zero NCB etc.

Never done it and only heard of it recently via this forum but tbh it makes a lot of sense really.

You can only drive one at a time etc.

Also some policies allow you to drive other cars - perhaps limited to TP or TPF&T now I don't know if that would cover you as well to drive a second car?

Does the car need insurance specific to it or would your policy cover you on a car taxed and nct'd but with no insurance?
