Myself and my partner are looking at getting a mortgage and wondering can we get some advice.

Financially we are in a good situation. We both work full time and I am also self employed. We are looking at building with our own site. A figure in the region of 250,000E.

We are looking at the options regarding Fixed or Variable Mortgages? Whats the best route to go down? Or is it impossible to predict? We have been to some providers like BOI and PTSB but we are curious to see what other people are doing and what options they are taking.

Any help and advice would be appreciated.

boi and ptsb arent recommended on the askaboutmoney forum. esb with their 2% cashback with no restrictions are recommended as long as you go directly through them
